what a terrible result eh?!?

wtf are you babbling about? sure on the surfae a draw against Arsenal away might not be that bad a result but considering the circumstances the least we could do was to show our attacking intent instead we drop our pace, misplace more passes and generally run around doing feck all and not tested their keeper despite having one extra man. Rafa's negativity is starting to get on my nerve tbh

Aye, those three strikers he brought on were negative tactics alright.

you're having a laugh aren't you...taking off your winger who had a decent game and replace him with another winger who can't even control a ball let alone get pass one defender was brilliant tactical move...taking off you goal scorer and put your right a man who played on he right must be progressive then...and put in a striker with 2 mins left shows you really wanted to win the game...then Sherlock for your deep knowledge and insight to the game!  :no

Babel has bossed Arsenal before.  I didn't think he would have a repeat performance but I didn't know he would be completely useless.

that last goal he scored last time he ran throught middle I would have liked to see him up middle this game but no rafa still thinks he is winger it was funny now its painful.

I thought it was his worst performance for us - and that's saying something. Simply woeful.

At the end of the day, nobody says how attractive the loser's football was. Football is a direct decedent of the Roman gladiator sport. Winner takes it all. Didn't matter if you looked good during the fight if you are dead at the end of it. Football - ditto!

WTF you on.

Why the hell is everyone bashing the team, we're top of the league by two points with Chelsea to play at Woodison tomorrow. We have a great tie with Real next year. We've lost only once this season and we're only half way through. Get behind the lads. Fair enough we didn't win but this is Arsenal in their own backyard
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Another two points drops, which it eventually will hunt the clever Benitez way before next may!!!

I do not see what is the point to give this lousy manager new contract, the useless owners should wait to see if he achieve the main trophy by wining the league!!!!!!, which I very much doubt.

Two wasteful point once again.

Arsenal are a team, who like us, have beaten both Chelsea & Man Utd. So this was always gonna be a very evenly matched occasion. And to take something from this game was of paramount importance.

The stats dont say Lpool were negative, and after watching the game, we definitly had chances to score through Gerrard, Kuyt & El Zhar late on.

Whats the point in playing Champagne Football, Like Man City, and being in the relegation zone.

IMO, 1 point is better than none.

Totally Agree :D  Lucas got to go. It made me sad just to hear his name....He is so consistent as his ratio of good game to bad game is always like 1:9.5. Really too bad can't bet on it as I would be rich by now if I bet on him to be bad in every game he had played..

we didnt SEEM go for the win hey im not pleased too but we got a point at least from a top top team.

thats so much better then drawing teams like stoke or west ham.

if it wasnt a top 4 team i could understand the complains but its a team that has beaten the team we'll be facing in Feb.

some of you posters whining about wanting good football need a reality check.

and oh we were away too. the crowd was really on a high and cheering the gunners on of course our players would be guarded and conservative.

its better then losing anyway. some people here....idiots. and which moron said we dont go for the kill?

remember when we were 2-0 down at man city we came back. we had loads of fightbacks. we went for it.

so dont sit behind your pc and slate the players for not playing well today against the team whose balls you'ld be  licking cause they have such pacey, quick, skillful players who are hard to beat.

hypocrites.

how can someone have so much confidence to even argue with the man who is saying that football is pretty much about skills and vision(beautiful game). EMERALD RED,you know fukc all about football, you proved it this time forever.  Hahahahaha,gladiators... And I wanted to prove him that we are team without skillfull players... What a joke, hahahaha. I think I will never talk to someone again about football when he thinks about gladiators

Every f*cking game people expect us to batter teams no matter who they are. In reality, this can never happen. Credit is never given to the opposition. We are always dire. We are always so terrible, and Benitez is always so negative. So negative in fact we're top of the league. I've seen the team have a spine about them this season where we actually have fought our way out of the mire. How the f*ck anyone can condemn the team that they claim to support in the way they do for this is beyond me. I've an idea: let's bring back Houllier and have us pitch a tent outside our own box. Or why not call out Evans and have us play nice attacking football where defending is an afterthought? Or better still, let's bring back Souness. I hear he's up for a job. Some of you moans forget.
