Would you have been happy with a loss as long as we had men poured forward into their box?

Yes  :) We bottled it big time even gerrard looked scared not the liverpool I remember last season.

wtf? so you rather see us not have a point at all just so we attack and show some pretty football? Babel kept losing everything he touched, conceded a silly free kick too. arsenal's team play superb football and if we were to go forward be all gung ho and not cautious they would have won 3-1 or 4-1 trust me.

Thats a stupid question of course I rather us not lose , but yes I would love us to be able to change our tactics to put pressure on a team that looked out of it with 10 men.

GoD chickens.

Whats point of winning league with sh.it football you no better then chavski then.

Just be a token win.

no way. not against arsenal. van persie was giving carra all sorts of problems even when we had a man advantage. chelsea and manure lost to this team while we got a point. its a good result. at least its better then drawing relagation candidates.

Like I said earlier, given the way the game unfolded, it's opportunity lost rather than a point salvaged.

Let's hope Chelski lose to Neverton, although it is difficult for me to conceive given that Neverton has had a wretched home record this season compared to previous seasons.

I thought I'd never say this...come on Neverton!

Poor!!!

The lack of attacking ambition from us once they went down to 10 men was disappointing and we looked happy to settle for a point. Personally I'd have left Riera on as the little he did do was still 10 times more than what Babel provided.

A major plus point for me was Insua, even in a big game he looked twice the player that Dossena ever will be and his forward play was encouraging.

The rest of the team looked fairly average apart from Lucas. I just cannot see what Rafa see's in him, he concedes fouls on 90% of the tackles he makes and if a pass is over 10 yards long he gives the ball away.

If we're serious about taking this seasons title we need to start beating teams and not letting them off the hook. At the moment realistically we are only top because the other three have been just as inconsistent, the sooner the team and Rafa face the fact that if we put a run together we can make this championship ours the better.

They were horrible. Was like a Sunday league game where someone f*cked the kits up.

you wouldn't know football if gerrard kicked one up your ar.se.

If you don't like good football go suport WBA.

In fact they play nicer football then us atm.

Lucas Leiva, what to say. It is fantastic result, considering that we play like Sheffield UTD when we should create something. This Rafa guy lost the plot, why he plays Agger every 20 games,I don`t know,Agger was boss.

Reina-there wasn`t any danger

Insua-prove that Rafa was wrong(again) when he put Dossena ahead of him, very good player

Carra-did well, but awful marking on Van Persie before he took the ball and scored the goal

Agger-fantastic,world class, another prove of Rafa`s `mastercoaching` by leaving him on the bench few times

Arbeloa-nothing special,as always

Lucas-oh dear, even if he knows football, there is now way that he is even decent player

Alonso,well,he was nice

Gerrard-He would be just fine on the Right wing

Riera-I am afraid that he should rest himself a little bit

Kuyt-one of the best, was good also in attack

Keane, again few through balls towards him,but his finish was class

Rafa Benitez-well,NEGATIVE TACTICS,his surname

Players were ok,but again no changing positions for wingers,no clever runs with the balls from midfielders,no through balls for forwards... Result is ok,but imagine us playing this way for the rest of the season... no title I am afraid

Rafa would have made the same changes if there were no sent off.  We have drew too many games with playing 1 strikers up front.
