Lennon looked pretty good the other night and think he is better than pennant .

It was mentioned earlier on this thread I think. This is now what I think will happen.

IMO that's not a bad deal...Lennon offers us real width and O'Hara is one for the future an LB.

That MUST signal the end of Dossena, Pennant and a few other fringe players.

I hope not. Jamie O'Hara is a central midfielder who CAN play at left back, but his natural game is in the centre.

Lennon is only a slight improvement on Pennant imo, and has as many bad games as he does good games. Not top 4 quality.

£5m? - would rather have the cash straight up if we are going to lose Keane, so we can buy what we need - a striker who can score goals.

O'Hara Lennon and 5mill plus the £10mil? we owe them? That cant be right....? Surely....

Unless they value Lennon and Ohara at what... 6mill? I'd pay 7for lennon on his todd.

Sounds promising...but id rather have a striker

By the way, I know Jan Molby's cousins husband's best mate, he said... :D only jesting fella.

If we sold pennant to spurs in a swap deal with lennon (not going to happen) how much would you give them with the deal?

Pennants worth what 4?... Lennon 7? I duno.

I, personally, would like to see lennon at the club. But like others have already said id rather see the money go on a goal scorer. proven if poss rafa.. oh... Robbie keane fits the bill   :D

I'm undecided about all this. I'd rather see him stay untill someone shows me some transfer wheeling and dealing that I like the sound of...

give that guy a break man. for heaven's sake, he been here less than 6 mths.
in truth he did not commit a crime against the club. show some faith in him or he will repay the club.
maybe he is a slow adapter or wat. but selling him after less than one season?
we are not a heartless club. real madrid maybe but no us.

and adding to that, we have already screwed barry. he have lost the villa's arm band, his testimonial match is uncertain and faith of the his club.
keane took a chance on lfc too. the least is for the club to stand behind the player too.
financially we cant fight madrid or the shieks, but players are still willing to move to choose lfc over money because we offer something "special"
a club with a glorious history and special fans, a club players can feel at home to. sell keane and we will have lost this magical "substance" that we can be proud of.

I wouldn't lose any sleep if Keane left. He's done nothing to merit the strops he's been having on field at every given opportunity.

Keane is not a world class player, so he didn´t choose Liverpool over the money.

OK so I may have got O'Hara's position wrong and he is more of a midfielder then a full back.

I've spoken to a mate tonight who's a spurs fan and he rates the kid highly.

Those suggesting that Lennon and Pennant are much of a muchness are wrong IMO. Lennon has a lot more pace and is a bit more direct.

I am not keen on Keane leaving by the way. In fact i think it's a travesty he's not being given more time to prove his worth to us all. I simply accept the fact that it looks like his days are numbered at Liverpool.

Barry...he's another I wouldn't be surprised to see us move for (again) in January.

If not then he'll join in the summer for sure.

barry move to liverpool ? why ?
Unless mascherano is sold i wouldnt be willing to pay big money for him.. surely only 2 of Mascherano, Barry, Alonso, Lucas would be starting and thats assuming we go for only 1 upfront.. meaning Keane would be on the ench too..
if we had him i'd honestly play him alongside Alonso... but that said, that would mean that our bench would probably cost more than our starting 11 and thus the need to sell to strengthen our still incomplete starting 11... id sell mascherano and get Barry if and only if that means we dont end up paying extra...

for now, we need to get a right winger imo before we start thinking about changing the middle of the park YET AGAIN ...

Lads we dont have a problem in midfield, we need someone to slot those vital goals to turn one point into three.
