but we all know we need to play better.

for real performance is the key. at the moment considering our poor strikers (excluding torres) im happy as long as were winning. i feel the second half of the season will be very interesting. let just hope we have a fit torres to bang in the goals. maybe an extra stiker aswel to help out.

I don't think were good enough to win the title BUT as long as we hang in there we have a very good chance because with a bit of luck with Torres to come back and under Benitez's reign we normally come good in the new year and have a strong second half of the season so there is every possibility. It is good to see us still top even better if it's in May.

Ferguson has said that they WILL retain Premier League crown if they are within three points of rivals at year end. Fecking arrogant

i was really impressed with Big Sami today!
Every long ball they did i saw the recognisable blonde hair of sami hyypia :D

love the bloke and hope he gets his fair share of games this season.

i for one would love to see him play against arsenal, to compete with adebayour in the air.

he may even bag us a goal from a header with arsenal looking shaky at the back from corners. I recall him scoring agaisnt them in the champions league aswel as the 6-3 loss a while back...both headers :)

He's been a great servant to this club and at his peak was probably one of the best center backs ever . It would be a sad day when he  hangs up his boots

Doesnt he have a twin brother who plays on the left? And I think Utd also have him on their books too but he is injured right now or something. Looks like a quality player though.

I would sign Cuellar from Aston Villa to replace Hyypia the next year. He is tall and strong, class.

Yes his name is fabio and he's a left back . Good to see clubs playing youngsters and hopefully rafa takes notes and starts to play insua and el zhar more often , maybe even darby and plessis
