Really puts things into perspective, doesn't it? I mean a club like City are throwing the cash about, whereas we have to settle for signing youngsters and a City reject in Riera. We're f*cked, simple as. We're skint, and people have the bollox to question Rafa with working with what he's got? F*cking joke and a disgrace.

i remember plenty on here pleased when DIC were screwed by Moores and the yanks got the club.

You really do my f'ckin head in.

I am sure i have read loads of posts about you slagging DIC for there business ways etc, but then i see you slag fans off for wanting them at the club as if they were mistreated in the first place  ???

Apologies if i am wrong but i am pretty sure you have slagged DIC vehemetly in the past.

i have questioned dic's business practices from an islamic viewpoint as dubai is painted as some beacon of light for the muslim world when in reality its not.

Anyway the point i was making was people at the time was saying how we were right to go back on our word and if dic wanted us they should bid more.  Once the reality with the yanks kicked in suddenly dic were the saviours.  At the time the yanks bought the club i was asking what were the reasons the owners turned back on dic? it could not have been cos of the business background.  I tend to think they thought it was better to give the club to americans than a bunch of arabs.

Well i question your so-called loyality based on these facts.

Why would you give a sh!t about them ?

Similar to when we were linked with Malouda for x amount then pulled out because Chelsea offer z amount. You agreed with Lyon.
That might appear like common sense to you, what it shows is that you are not 100% LFC cos you couldnt help but be biased if you was, thats what supporters are.

The lad took a long long time to settle at Madrid, and was on the verge of being offloaded several times.  It's only in the last season or so he's come to the fore and looked a good player.  I'd have serious doubts as to how well he'd adapt to the Premiership, and if so, how quickly.

Not in the same league as the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinho (in his prime) imo.

at 24 his showing just as much potential as ronaldinho did at the same age.

I don't know you guys, english football is going down, all these foreign owners spending tons on foreign talents. What was the highest fee spent on an english footballer this season? England is full of talent but keep on going like this and you'll miss more major tournaments with the national team...
that's just what I've been thinkinh

According to my sources, Owen was planning on signing for LFC.

But then he saw Skrtel looking at him while slowly stroking a hunting knife.

Owen changed his mind and drove back to Newcastle.

We have spent 12 million pound this summer get your facts straight ok.
Sunderland, Villa, City and Portsmouth have spent more than us.

Keane - 20.5
Ngog  - 1.5
Riera   - 8
Dossena - (6-8 not sure)
Cavalieri - 3.5

Thats a total of 40 mill or so atleast SPENT on new signings.. net spending is different but what i was talking about was the amount we spent on new players... most of the players we sold if not all werent going to be in our starting 11 week in week out and spending the way we did i would have expected better buys thats all...

A whimpering sound was heard at Anfield ten minutes ago.

It was Jermaine Pennant hiding in a closet crying and saying "NO STOKE NO STOKE NO STOKE" over and over....
