BS.  Robinho was excellent last season.  he was poor under capello but that was cos capello restricted him with his negative ways.

Meh, an occasional good run, but nothing special.

He's Brazilian and his name begins with "R" so people assume he's awesome.

Personally I don't see it.

And this is news to you..?

Robinho, top player, someone who would be one of the best players in the champions league signing for MANCHESTER CITY (whatever the wages) ???? Yes i am still shocked.

Call me naive but i thought most players wanted success etc.

That is nothing but money.

I know it happened at Chelsea but they were already a regular in the champions league and well known in europe.

I said to me mate that it might take a while for city to get people interested or to believe they were on the up, this has really shocked me yeah.

We're working on two deals; Hicks fucking off, and GG following behind him. I'd go out right now and down a bottle of Vodka if that were true. Best transfer imaginable.

And only if you can "roll" your R's properly.

Chelsea have been following robinho the whole summer, and couldn't get him

Man city only followed him today and they got him.

Not sure I'd want to be spending 30+ million on Robinho to be honest.

The lad took a long long time to settle at Madrid, and was on the verge of being offloaded several times.  It's only in the last season or so he's come to the fore and looked a good player.  I'd have serious doubts as to how well he'd adapt to the Premiership, and if so, how quickly.

Not in the same league as the likes of Kaka and Ronaldinho (in his prime) imo.

What's shocking to me is that this is starting to become the norm in modern football.

He thought it was Manchester United.

He doesn't know the difference.

They`ll bring out the shirt to do some some pics and he`ll be like i thought we played in red. :D
To late now, you cant rip up the contract because city had it laminated.
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,

If City want to build a team, rather than go for superstars, they needed to use the new owners money to strengthen in needed areas, rather than buying someone just to make the fans happy.

Robinho will get a shock when he debuts at the COMS.

He's never seen so many empty sky blue seats before.

The Manhattan Project Posted on Sep. 01 2008,23:33Is Robinho going to do the typical thing at the press conference and confess to being a lifelong City fan and it's always been his dream to play for the team Bernard Manning supported?

ODDS ON ROBINHOS NEXT PRESS QUOTE:

4-1 " A HUGE OASIS FAN"

5-1 "IM A HUGE RICKY HATTON FAN"

4-7 "I CANT WAIT TO TEAM UP WITH RONALDO"
