Unbelievable SWP will find himself in the same situation as he had at Chelsea now, will mark Hughes be able to handle all this I doubt it.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

The way Sky are hyping this "midnight deadline" thing, you'd think that Berbatov had to sign before that time, otherwise he'd turn into a pumpking.

Really puts things into perspective, doesn't it? I mean a club like City are throwing the cash about, whereas we have to settle for signing youngsters and a City reject in Riera. We're f*cked, simple as. We're skint, and people have the bollox to question Rafa with working with what he's got? F*cking joke and a disgrace.

i remember plenty on here pleased when DIC were screwed by Moores and the yanks got the club.

You really do my f'ckin head in.

I am sure i have read loads of posts about you slagging DIC for there business ways etc, but then i see you slag fans off for wanting them at the club as if they were mistreated in the first place  ???

Apologies if i am wrong but i am pretty sure you have slagged DIC vehemetly in the past.

ManUtd, Chelsea and Arsenal are the main challengers for the title and we'v spent more than all 3 of them... probably more than all 3 of them comined atm if the Berbatov deal doesnt go through... We'v spent about 40mill so far this season and a bucket load of money last season on Torres, Mascherano, Babel...etc so you cant say we'r not spending tha cash we'r just spending it the wrong way imo...

and let me just get one thing straight here... when we dont sign a player, its Parry's fault and when we sign him and he turns out to be a good buy its thuimbs up Rafa... what about all the sht buys Rafa and Parry made ?

I'd rather have spent all the money we had this season on one player instead of all them average players we brought in...
Robinho to mancity is a great deal and whos to say if Rafa had put in a 25mill bid or whatever it wouldnt have gone through... again... Parry fcked up im guessing so discussing any players we didnt get...

Mancity's day so back to the circus and sorry for the rant ...

So this is what it's coming to. Teams like City spending massive amounts of money just to break into the top four. Spurs are throwing coin about as have Portsmouth, United, and Chelsea. If we manage to get close to winning the league this year, it'll be some achievement.
