Sammy never stopped running the whole game, he won his place through his sheer work rate didnt he?

I think bringing Sammy back in the reserve manager role would be a good shout with Ablett stepping up to Alex Millers role maybe and an experienced assistant manager being brought in.

This is what certainly seems to be suggested by the article on the offal.

Rafa told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It is very positive news for Alex. This is a very good opportunity for him to coach in Japan.

"It means we will be promoting some of the existing coaching staff and also over the summer we will be looking to bring in a replacement.

"We have some names and options but need more discussion first.

welcome "back" home sammy lad, made up as i know & believe he will re-genarate
fire in the belly for what"s ahead in the future, i don"t just think he will make a good
coach (no2) i"m certain of it. & any player in the sqaud who thinks otherwise beware!!

It was also reported on Five live last night that he "was in talks with Liverpool".

If he comes back then great, I would like to see the whole club run by old boys, They know the fans and they know what it should mean to put a Liverpool shirt on.........oh and they will kick some butt when we dont have a good game.
