Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

From "Adiman" on YNWA...I do not know if this is correct, but I think this could be true:
----
soon to be confirmed

Rafa Benítez has appointed fellow countryman Francisco Herrera to be his assistant.

Benítez is keen to have a fellow Spaniard as his number two and requested Herrera, who spent last season in charge with Segunda División side, RC Recreativo de Huelva. Francisco Ayestarán, physical trainer at Valencia, has also accepted Benítez’s offer to join him at Liverpool as has goalkeeper
trainer, José Manuel Otxotorena.

Herrera, 50, has trained several clubs in Spain’s lower leagues including: CD Badajoz, UD Mérida, CD Numancia, Albacete Balompié and Club Polideportivo Ejido.

Looks like Corrigan's off then!  :)

That can only be a good thing. I think it was about time he moved on.

Apart from a bad patch by Dudek our goalkeepers can't be blamed for our poor form during the last two years.
