well the point about experienced players is quite good... but we have to be very careful when we try to get those kinda players... sometimes they would just come to get their last contract and easy money... if we do get experienced players it needs to be someone who's really passionate about football and still can contribute to the team on the pitch just like Gary Mac did... unfortunately it will be very hard to get that kind of players...

Ya we'd have to make sure we got the right player but am sure a decent length conversion between rafa and the player would tell alot about the players mindset.... Zambrotta would be the business tho.me thinks!

number one pepe, who the :censored: is dean horsefield?
number two pepe, I'm guessing you have some love for Italian football as you do nothing but bang on about it, which is alright to do so, but not many (if any) Italians have succeed in the premiership.
number three pepe, would Zambrotta leave the sunny beaches and high climates of Barcelona to join the muddy beaches of New Brighton and low climates of Liverpool?
number four pepe, what's the point in signing an auld fella when we have possibly the most promising left back in the league in Insua?
number five pepe, I don't see any point in bringing in another "experinced" defender. I mean our back four for next year (with injuries of course) Finnan, Carra, Hyypia and Zambrotta. The average age of 30 plus. We already have enough defenders of the 30 plus mark, if we're going out to sign an experinced fella, then it should be up front. Someone who can teach Torres to make him into a better player. From what I've seen of him, Miroslav Klose would be my first choice, because he's not yet past it, and he could offer us some valuable goals. But that's just me.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

the new system went wrong because u cant use one system against lots of differentt eams. there should be different ways to play different teams. not just find a way that wins and dont ever change. 451 is good sometimes, but against some teams 443 or 442 would be better. we need to be able to adapt more to different situations

 There is a GEOFF Horsefield.

I'd go for Klose (there may be better around) but from what I've seen of him in Europe or international level, he'd do OK.
