while they sweat over the aerial threat torres scores a hatrick...although we do need a runner to keep em busy and push em back instead of allow them to get into their passing thing..oh well i guess its kuyt.

you meen you would drop the formation that has won us 5 on the trot just to put crouch back in the team omg you should become rafas new assisent.  ???

no i would not with a half hearted crouch, but a up for it crouch..hell yes.

the only problem with crouch is he does no run much so unless liverpool is bombarding arsenal's goal he is not that threatening.arsenal players are much quicker than liverpools which is why they give us so much trouble but the long ball to crouch messes up their superiority mode.

This is the worst possible draw we could get I think. With us having to play them 3 tiems in a week. We have to get something from the Emirates because I don't see us keeping a clean sheet at Anfeild against Arsenal.

I've got a gooner mate and if you listen to him you'd think we've already played the ties and we've lost. ???

Not like a gooner to get delusions or grandeur hey!! :D

Tough, tough draw.... Would rather have avoided them... not out of fear but because we'll play 'em 3 games in a row. And the fixture list during that period is a real b!tch. It'll be emotionally and physically demanding.... would have been nice to get Schalke but what can you say?

Crunch time lads...... This next few weeks is gonna be a tough test of our mettle.

C'mon you red men!!!
Let's show 'em what we've got......

Not a great draw is it and drawing the mancs is the only way it could have turned out worse from where i'm sitting. Am sure the Chelsea/manc fans are loving the way it's turned out.

Still, we're playing well right now and should be confident about beating anyone.

bloody hell its going to be tense and exciting. cant really enjoy these games til there over and you get the result you want. my only fear is when we play chavski in the semi's their luck against us must change sometime. that said bring it on its going to be a great few weeks and its great to still be involved.  :buttrock
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

arsenal is easy to play,if you give em some of their own passing medicine they fall apart like against manu.but when you give em space and time to play fancy stuff they grow in confidence.

if we track each player well and give them no gaps to do their routine...they are stuffed.

Exactly, I was dissapointed with Rafa's tactics when we played them at home because we sat back and gave them room to build from the back.  If you take the game to them like Wigan and Man U did then we can really beat them.  I just hope we're not too cautious aganst them.

Well when you put 6 past us at home with some of their reserve players I think that entitles you to be a bit chuffed.

I disagree.

Try to play them at there own game, which is passing and moving, and they will tear us and any other team to shreds.

Pressing them all over the park is what we have to do, so we don't give creative players like Fabregas, Hleb and Rosicky any time and space on the ball to start threading passes through to the likes of Adebayor.

Mascherano is perfect for this and others must follow suit.

I can see Mascherano eating Fabregas alive. Mascherano is the perfect guy to have in the middle to break up Arsenals play
