Did anyone see Aldo on the phone in last night ? They were discussing the atmosphere at Anfield and some guy rings in and says " Aldo, it was the Irish fans that was booing", when asked how he knew he said "I recognized the accents !" Aldo just about managed to contain his disgust at him, but you could tell he was boiling ! :D

And yet, you can read how these players "wouldn't last in today's game" and "the games so much faster now"

1.0 to Liverpool at half time. Spearing scored before half time after some good work by Leto and Lucas.

Leto has looked really lively (pleased for him as he had a shocker in the CL), the lad Plessis looks really good as well. Don't think Inusa is too far away from the first team...

1:1  Lucas hit the post in the last knockings. Spearing, Hobbs, Insua, Leto, Putterill, Plessis all played well. There's reasons to be cheerful with two or three of these lads somewhere down the line. Should have done these though, plenty of the ball and a couple of really good chances.

Newcastle at Warrington next - two week today.

Here you go:

http://subscribe.setanta.servecast.com/setanta/

Follow the steps onscreen and towards the end you will need to enter your SKY ID number - the 9 digit one on your viewing card. (alternatively its also in Services/system etc somewhere). After accepting the terms and all that...depending on your'e method of payment. The encryption will begin sometime after the clearance from your bank has allowed the card to pay Setanta. Mine took 15 minutes, some take longer...

Yes, you are charged a tenner a month and yes, you get Setanta's sports channels. Btw..if you do it by DD - they will continue to take it from your bank every month automatically until you instruct them otherwise, which needs 30 days from last payment to become effective.

Channel Number is 448:

And its worthwhile getting imo. Now, anything else while we're at it?

Ace post from the 'other' Setanta thread. Keep them all in the one place lads.

Cant find the other thread on setanta so will drag this one up.

Has anyone else had any problems with them regarding payments ?
I set up a direct debit with the missus bank account details. Havent received any statements or anything, then due to this postal strike got a statement saying that they were taking out £50 today, only got the letter on Saturday, have tried calling them since then and havent been able to get through as there wont be £50 in there so looks like she will get a charge from her bank now, proper fuming. I expected them to take £10. a month which you obviously are less likely to miss, to just come and take £50 and send a letter when they know there are postal strikes is in absolute joke.

Not happy
.

Ta mate, as i said its been a scatty few days for me.

Anyway what has actually happened is they havent taken the £10 a month since i joined them...or sent me anything at all in the post. I never thought anything about it until i got the five months all lumped together on Saturday morning. They were closed all weekend, tried calling yesterday and couldnt get through, still cant today...well couldnt after 10 minutes and gave up.

Its an 0871 number as well, does that charge you ?
