Im going to keep an eye on this as im in the same boat. They can swivel if they think they are taking 50 quid in one swipe!

Well i said that to me missus when i got the letter on Saturday. But seeing as though i cant get through to the feckers it makes it awkward, if she gets charged by the bank there will be murders...her murdering me unfortunately.

Are 0871 numbers charged ?

Couldn't tell you Ace. But if thats their trick - i'll jib it i think. 30 days from the last withdrawal the want don't forget.

I don't like this 30 day cancellation thing, plus th efirst month is actually £20 which it says in small print as opposed to the enormous £10 sign on their website. I don't liek their attitude and I get enough Footy via Sky thanks. For the other matches, well it gives me an excuse to go down to the pub doesn't it :buttrock

I signed up by phone and they told me there'd be a "connection" charge. I told them to "forget it, I'll sign up via your website, it's free" they immediately took a step back and waived the connection charge.

FWIW, less than 50p a day for access to the LFC channel is well worth it. Classic games , interviews with Liverpool legends ,insights into the history of LFC, re runs of recent matches.
Brilliant stuff.

Well after 15 minutes yesteday afternoon finally got through. The girl on the phone said that there was nothing she could do....the reason they tried to take £50 at once is because they have had problems with there automated service (which i registered and joined on)
She tried to tell me i had to put any complaints in writing, i told her i would cancel, and that she needed to put me through to a supervisor.
The supervisor then told me i could just pay £20 a month for 3 months, which i had asked for in the first place, and told me if there were any charges from the bank they can be claimed back.
So all sorted now.

Couldn't find it on tv or even satellite last night but a full rerun of Liverpool v Cardiff in the carling cup just about to start on Setanta , Roy Evans and David Fairclough in the studio.

I love this channel.
