The start of the season our captain is performing like the world class player he is, then he has an injury...plays for England, something all Liverpool fans wish he didnt but at the end of the day he is patriotic. He has struggled since then..form wise but not once would i question his attitude...but because it helps Lando defend Rafa...we'll slag off Stevie.

Get a grip lad.

Same as you said in your earlier post - you've not seen the match, so I would suggest you get in front of the tele and watch it mate.

Watching on sky now.

And before i watch the end i am not going to say he played well. Just defending our captain against criticism from someone who refuses to criticise anything Rafa...just smacks of double standards thats all.

No - the double standards are to be found at the feet of the people who cream their pants over Gerrard even when he's W*nk, but lambast Rafa or the foreign players when they've done little wrong.

But then - one's scouse, the others are not...

Ah there we have it.

Nobody is creaming there pants at Gerrard...just defending the lad against unjust criticism from some.
Whereas you feel you need to defend the manager NO MATTER WHAT. No thats fine...but you have just imo proved the reason why.

Your not scouse...so you cream you pants at the manager who is also not...is it like you have more of an association with him than the local lad Gerrard ?

By the way i am also not scouse, i love the captain...AND THE MANAGER...i just think the manager at the minute needs to realise how difficult the premiership is to win..and show the other teams the respect they deserve. DISCLAIMER : That comment is in no way attributed to todays line up, which i thoroughly agreed with  :p )

hmmmm..... while i disagree with lando about the scouse comment, i think ace needs to look a bit closer at gerrard.

gerrards not played consistently well for 15months imo n while he cant b blamed for our slump entirely, i think we need more captains performances from our captain.

no more posts from me 2nite, done this on psp,not good!!! :D

i ask this question and this question should answer should rafa stay or go if he doesnt deliver a decent challenge.

are we any better now than in rafas first season?

i say not really, torres improves us but apart from that the team in rafas first season played much slicker football

Talk of sackings and new managers is in my opinion daft, he has brought us so far and in my opinion only he is very capable of taking us further.

rafa has lost his trusted number 2 because he was angry with who paco was friends with, just read that again and see how ridiculous that sounds, thats playground behaviour.

rafa has the same 'its my way or the highway' attitude that houllier had and that will eventually be his downfall at LFC, just like it was houlliers and we will lose someone who has the potential to be a great manager because of his attitude and stubbornness, thats right, i say potential, he isn't there yet as a great manager would see what was going wrong and correct it

i don't have the link anymore but rafa was unhappy with pacos friendship with maureen, if the good press is to be believed, or maybe he just left for no reason eh?

You're obviously more inclined to believe an unsubstantiated story, as you're clearly pis sed off with Rafa, i on the other hand would like some kind of evidence, even anectdotal, before i do.
