Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Ciggy » Sun Oct 07, 2007 7:04 pm

Time to move on from today, went all pear shaped after the last Internationals maybe we will get our act together again and start a fresh.

Good news anyway Andy Johnson out for a month he needs an op tommorrow.
Still a tough game even though I hate them with a passion as you all know.
They are a difficult team to beat and escpecially at home.
We all dont want to see a repeat of last seasons depacle 3-0 but at least a member of the Right Said Fred group is missing.

No doubt kunthook Kangaroo will be back, with Duncan Fergusson mark 11 Anichebe to bully our defence.

Expect Torres to get ten bags of shite knocked out of him by Stubbs, Hibbo(should have been an England reg) and Phillip Neville Neville.

Tough game blood shot bogeyed Gollum will have them fired up for this with them getting beat today.
And be prepared for 90 mins + stoppages of The baby's not yours.............Tw@ts
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

As good a time as any for the players to show they aren't missing a set of knackers and a heart.

Dont always agree with Lando, but we have to get this game out of the way, this may be a decent time to play these.
Our players possibly underdogs and feeling like they have a point to prove.
People (not us) underestimate the passion of some of our players, i fancy it to come out at Goodison.

Both him and his mum have heard worse from his own fans, I don't think it will affect his performance ( but something clearly is at the moment) ?

I reckon our league form was :-

Before International Break - P4 W3 D1 L0
After International Break - P4 W1 D3 L0

Nuff said. Who knows what this one will do to us, so many competitions and interuptions to go with a rotation policy that makes no sense. We need to win this one and the one after, otherwise it's goodbye title ambitions. You can't KEEP dropping points no matter how unbeaten you may be. Winning the league will need near enough 28 wins and you don't get 28 wins by drawing half your games. In fact if we won half and drew half I reckon that 76 points would be enough to finish third.................................

Don't get me wrong , i just want the confident gerard back .He seems "abit" lost at the moment , and yes gerard can do almost anything when he's confident and fit and

i don't think alonso absence is why he's  underperforming.

Is there a remote chance Agger could make a surprise return for this one? We desperately need him. This team should play.

An interesting question given the two week international break. Perhaps Agger and/or Alonso will be ready to return.  I just hope Hyypia doesn't get injured playing for Finland or we'll really be hurting if Agger's not fit for the derby.
