You’ve just contradicted yourself here, but money is not the answer, Rafa has spent money and it’s a similar old story (at the moment). IMO Rafa’s game plan needs to change and the team needs find the attacking finesse which was shown in the earlier part of this season.

I know you have ya views on rafa how many more bad performances you think before they give him the chop and i not talking about his foreskin ! i talking about the real chop !

If I am honest I think it all started at Portsmouth away and Birmingham at home.
It seemed to go pear shaped from then.
I hate this rotation lark as do 90% of us will Rafa stop it? Probably not.
What I can say if he is asked to leave or gets the sack it will be his own fault but the only fault I see in him is his rotation policy and man managment skills e.g. scaring the sh.it out of the players at half time.

That they go all out for a win the 2nd half so far we have only seen this once in the prem against Fulham even Igor scored.

The truth is what was safe before is not safe now none of us know what the new owners are like and spending ex amount money on players and the new stadium they will want returns.

Will the new owners be patient "I dont know"?

i total agree i really think if i was a player i wouldnt wanna play for him .

no doubt in the spanish league things can be run that way but int he prem you need same players out ever week or a solid 7-8 that will play week in week out.

I just feel pako mabye was the guy that kept moral up in dressing room and now he gone mabye the wheels are falling off a bit i dunno mabye its even deeper then that.

People may call it a dip in form i just get a sense there is something else a miss int he team.

i aint gonna call for rafas head there is already enuff people doing that all i say is unless he stops being so set in his ways and starts to play our best team asap or i think the american owners will lose hope for him.

God i really hope he can turn it around cos he could have been int he history books as one of liverpools greatest.

We show that finesse sporadically but we cant seem to maintain it. We always tend to go through scrappy patches and end up struggling.

i think thats just because we have good players they are good no doubt but they have alot of junk int he back of there minds and every now and agian on the pitch they will forget about it and play some nice stuff.

But cant hide deep down some thing is going on behind closed doors that is disrupting the ballance of the team spirit.

Then this is what needs sorting out instead of the blame being focused on the defence.

I’m not for a moment suggesting that the team show the finesse of Arsenal in front of goal, but there needs to be more consistency and effectiveness in the attacking aspect of the team’s game.

Rafa needs to invest in a play maker, someone who can create attacks; a player similar to Petrov or Elano wouldn’t go a miss.

This said, I’d like to see Crouch partner Torres in attack for the time being, but from media reports, Crouch is on his way out, so I doubt this will happen.

Ill tell you what after todays game im getting a bit worried when you look at our performances and the average teams in the prem that we have played (besides chealsea) what have we actually achieved from last season ZILCH . we are playing sub standard football at the moment and unless something is done behind closed doors regarding players moral we are gonna end up this season as one of them average teams

We don't have to buy anyone FFS there are enough half decent players there to get a good team together. They have just got to start behaving like a TEAM.
I've just watched the re-run and before they came on to the pitch our lads and their lads were all hugs and bleedin kisses - what's all that about ? We were just about to go out on the pitch and fight for the badge and we're huggin the opposition.
Thought they were smiling a bit too much when they came out !
A few Roy Keane or Tommy Smith growls would have been more in order.
On the plus side, this Torres could be something really special. Just got to start using him right.

If we get knocked out of champions league......

its good bye rafa.

Apart from torres, he hasn't bought well this season.... He buys babel for not sure what reason...he gets levia when we need a LW or a CB.....

And today, rafa should have told the players to strike the ball from distance as robinson isn't comfortable with long range shorts... But did the players do this ? I mean every team which played spurs shot a lot from outside the penalty box...

But rafa for some reason set out the team not to do that ? What a great tactician rafa is......

Seriously questioning rafa here...   :glare:

This is like houllier's 4th season.....

I like to finish by adding, i am a liverpool supporter not a rafa supporter (unlike some ppl here)...

hey rock...

ive defender rafa from day one,  but honestly ive had enough of whats going on at the moment...

i dont say this with any thrills but rafa has struggled the minute paco left...

rafa has the world on his shoulders right now...

alonso and agger, have been a big miss for us,  but that isnt the real problem...

its rafa,  ive just lost total faith in him, at this moment in time,  i dont say that with any happyness...

rafa your job is on the line right now, and you better believe that...   ???

Lando seriously you know I like you but how you can say that I just dont know?
Last minute equaliser from Torres take your specs off for a minute mate.
4th in the league when we could have been 1st 8 points dropped at home?

You think that is acceptable?
4th place is not acceptable neither is 3rd if you are second you are nothing.
