Give Paletta a break, (how many times have you seen him play? Apart from Carling Cup run outs which noone really gives a damn about anyway and he wasnt the only player to underperform was he?)besides part of the problem is that reserve football is useless, the gap between premiership and reserve football is too large so if youre not getting a look in in the first team you cant really learn, therefore a loan deal might be an option for Paletta and some of the other younger players on the reserve team, (same as Carson had last season). Some of the criticism of certain players on this website is dreadful, most of it from people who probably never played football at any level.
As for Heinze, excellent player, I hope we get him, good full back and good cover as a centre half, proven in the premier league and at 29 hes hardly over the hill is he? I dont care if he has played for man ure, so what....so did beardsley and ince in the relatively recent past...get over it, some of you are sounding like bigotted glasgow rangers fans when they wouldnt sign a catholic. If Heinze is of benefit to Liverpool Football Club and Rafa thinks he is then I say sign him. If Heinze is part of a team that brings us our first league title since 1990 Im sure all the ex utd talk would end fairly quickly.
As for Ferguson....he hates being played at his own game, he touted Rooney and Hargreaves for months before any deals were struck and the Tevez issue is a definate case of approaching the player before approaching west ham, fair play to Rafa for upsetting the miserable old git.
