FFS, from the feckers own website:

"I was born in Wales, so were my mum and dad and my grandparents. Playing for England was never an option. I might speak with a mancunian accent but I'm Welsh through and through".

"Contrary to popular belief, Giggs could not have played for the full England national side. He was only eligible to play for the England schools' team because he went to school there. To play for the England national football team, he would have needed to have been born in England or have had English parents or grandparents. Do you wanna know the real reason Giggs didn't play for England? The following is a transcript of a conversation between Ryan Giggs and then England Coach Graham Taylor in 1992 (probably)

Giggs: "So gaffer if I keep my head down do you think I have a chance of making the first team soon?"

Taylor: "I'll be honest with you son, I've got Andy Sinton and Tony Daley on the left, but you have a welsh Grandmother right?"
