The whole attack needs rebuilding if you ask me.
Ok Crouch has his moments, but there's nothing quite so soul destroying as watching him become the focal point of a counter-attack and then promptly ending up in a heap with his ankles behind his head.
Bellamy is Owen with no head.
Kuyt is a mirror universe version of Denis Bergkamp: a grafter, but completely bereft of guile, witts or any notion of a 'football brain'.
We beat the Chavs with a cleverly worked free-kick which a defender scored, Wednesday night with a set-piece. But not since Barca away have I seen attacking play that carves apart a class side (although it must be said their defence let us play)
Most of the time, especially the other night, the attacks break down ten yards ahead of the centre circle. LFC needs a wholesale head transplant.
