I cannot believe that 50 people think he should play in the final (against 24 No's) !!

What are you thinking of?? He's not long term fit, untested, hasnt got the right mindset built up over a season's football etc.. etc.. etc..

I'd much rather have a match fit and psyched up BoBo in there battling away going for 50-50 balls.

You guys are nuts.

Come on Reg!! What does Bolo offer that Harry can't!! Yes Harry hasn't played alot of football, but what it does make him is fresh. He is a World class player at his best, and even now with not many games behind him, he is still a quality player, this still makes him a better player than Zendon right now.

He has alot and i mean a lot more to offer the team than Bolo!! Didn't you see him yeasterday, he looked fresh, lean and has that look in his eyes of a player back to show his ability!!

What does Zendon offer on the left. struggles to get quality balls in the box, struggles to beat a player, and even struggles for a great shot nowadays. Also he gets tired during the 2nd half.

What does a 85% fit kewell offer on the left.

Can deliver quality balls in the box.

Can beat a player with skill and pace.

Has a tremendous shot on him.

I rest my case "REG"..... TAKE A LOOK AT KEWELL IN YESTERDAYS GAME....

I am a great admirer of kewell since his days at Leeds, as still is.
But no, I just can't see him at the starting line-up come May23. I mean he's being out so long and have not played enough to understand or gel with quite a number of new faces like kyut, masc or Agger. At most he may come in as a sub I think.

Bolo is :censored: mate, end of. When has he ever beaten a full back and put a ball in to the box to win anything other than a corner? He is a passenger in most of the games he plays in and isn't fit to lace Harry's boots.

INMHO Kewell does not need to gel to these players it's a one of game and he has lots to offer he would have seen them train had kick abouts with them and has palyed with most of the team before. But he was known as one of the worlds best wingers and you can't loose thet over night.

Lets put it this way mate!!

If say Alves was offered to us to play on the right in just the final. This is just for arguments sake by the way!!

Would you say no!! He hasn't had time to play or gel with the players.

There you go... At least Kewell knows his team mates. Knows whats expected of him, and that is to beat his man and deliver a quality ball in the box...

I know who i would rather have playing from the start between Kewell and Zendon thats for sure...

Even if Kewell has just come back from a lengthy layoff.

If you think he is fit enough to play against Charlton then why wouldn't he be ready to play in the cup final?

Charlton was a nothing game. AC Milan is the most important match of the season.

thats an obvious statement but the importance of the match doesn't make harry less fit.  He has now been used as a sub 3 times once as a reserve and twice on the first team.  He will only be even more match ready in a week's time and he offers SOOOO much more quality than Zenden or Gonzalez, the only other sensible left side is Arbeloa at LB and Riise at LM.  I really like the side that welsh wizard put out in this thread apart from all the misspellings, and hope Rafa goes with a side that looks like it but i doubt he actually will, Zenden will probably get the start, and i will probably be mad about it and hopefully proven wrong.

Is it just me, or did it look as if Harry has lost a bit of bulk that he had? He looks leaner than he was last year, which could mean that he's been putting a lot of training in to get his true sharpness back, possibly how he was for Leeds. he even stated on the main site that he's feeling as fit as he ever has been.

I noticed that as well, definately looks leaner.

Personally I'd play him as he is our best option, but I still think we should sell him in the summer as I doubt he can go a whole season without a major injury.

I think kewell will be like a new signing next season and i think we should take a chance on him not getting another injury next season. He looks in great shape, like he lost 2 stone since last season
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
