well just wondering if anyone had any bright ideas of gettin there?Flights direct are silly prices but seen that u can fly into skopje macadonia for very cheap,has anyone else looked into this?Just remembered there were some gr8 stories from people of how they managed to get to istanbul 2 years ago................................

1)Fly to Bari, Ferry to Greece.

2)Fly to Bodrum, ferry to greece.

3)week in Zante/Corfu , ferry to greece.

They are the 3 cheapest options mate.

Me and me mate have looked at all kinds of things, we was going to go and fly to Salonika and get the train from there but thats pretty expensive now so we are looking at going by Train from London to Athens, There is about 5 changes on the way but Ive sorted it all out, worked it all out and it works out at £275 return and that includes a coach from Liverpool to London, We would leave on the friday night and get to Athens Tuesday afternoon.

Bit of a roadtrip but it adds to the journey and it will be cheap as cheaps and the money you save goes on Ale & Food
