I am getting really nervous about this game, the closer we get to kick-off. We seem to be awfully self-confident in the press (which is of course not necesarily a bad thing), but I just have this horrible fear, that we might just be too cocky. Even quite a lot of people on this forum are talking like it's practically a foregone conclusion, that we'll reach the final again. That shower will be desperate to make amends for the last time around though, and they will be really pumped up for this one (as some of you have already mentioned in this thread). Hope to God I'm proved wrong tomorrow, and afterall I really trust Rafa (if anyone) to get the better of Mourinho and his gang of moaners. Really getting :censored: of by all his psychological mambo jambo and putting pressure on the ref by claiming, that we'll be going after Drogba to get him suspended (though that might just be a very good idea :D ).

Come on redmen... show 'em that we've got a reason to be so self-confident and go get a good result tomorrow!

If luck is on our side, then we have a winner.

I have seen on Sky Sports News today interviewers asking questions about Chelski's level of fitness, because they have many more things to concentrate on. But technically shouldnt that have applied to the Manc's?

You know on ITV the comentators constantly went on about how the manc's performance was excellent, but it wasnt overally convincing.

Its all pretty even going into tomorrow's game, wouldnt be surprised if it boils down to who wants to win the most.

I just pray that Chelsea over strategise and play a confused game with Ballack totally ineffectual as has happened before this season.

Come on red Boys !!

About as much use as Shevvie then.

Did anyone read the interview Shevchenko did today in The Mirror? He mostly spoke about how he doesnt want to settle old scores with Liverpool, because thats all "behind" him now.

Oh how i found that difficult to belive.

Jose Mourinho has cranked up the heat on the eve of Chelsea's UEFA Champions League semi-final with Liverpool by claiming he would not be surprised if The Reds attempted to get Didier Drogba booked.

Ivory Coast star Drogba is one of a number of Chelsea players one booking away from a suspension and Mourinho feels Liverpool could attempt to force him into a rush of blood which would lead to a caution.

The Portuguese tactician has also accused Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt of picking up a deliberate booking in the first leg of their quarter-final win over PSV Eindhoven in order to serve a suspension in the second leg.

"We don't have four important players and there is another factor that can play an important part and that is that they don't have yellow cards," Mourinho said on Sky Sports News.

"They had the chance even to clean cards. You see for example when Kuyt gets a yellow card in the last minute against PSV it is because he does not want to play the second game in order to be clean for the rest of the competition.

"Chelsea had a group with Werder Bremen, a group with Barcelona, two games with Porto and two games with Valencia and we have Essien suspended and a lot of players with two yellow cards.

"And it would not surprise me tomorrow if they chase Drogba for 90 minutes and try to get him suspended for the second game."

He wouldn't be surprised if Drogba gets chased and booked, yeah so, i hope that is what we do and that Rafa instructs them to.
Yeah Kuyt took a yellow card, so what?? well done son. My heart bleeds for him and all his problems, blah blah blah.

The biggest problem is people who even consider Chelsea with Utd or Everton in terms of hatred.

"We have to think about the football and the referee is experienced enough to handle the situation. If he's trying to get a message to the ref then I don't think it will work. If Drogba commits a foul which has to be a yellow card then it has to be a yellow card. The same applies for any player. A yellow card should mean a yellow card and a red card should mean a red card.

I love it when Rafa replies to mouninho. Red is red, yellow is yellow, you're a mouning :censored: and im not sort of thing :p

Bring it on. Biggest match of the season to date.

I'm taking absolutely nothing for granted, but this is exactly the kind of fixture Liverpool Football Club are about.
