come on, back to topic. dont u agree that chelsea look tired at the end of the season and that flooding the midfield could be a great opportunity for us? and if not, why not?

So basically, what the Manc is saying.... (By the way, its absoloutely sick anyone can defend a Liverpool fan claiming he wants United to win a game).

Is he thinks Chelsea are tired, so we should play a slow tempo, give them space and time and not get at them early on and put them under pressure with runners from midfield and pressing in high places...

Tell you what, they have Drogba and Robben in attack who are quick, so why don't we defend on the half way line?

What about us putting Pennant man Marking John Terry on set peices?

How about play compact aswell and look to play Crouch in with through balls and balls over the top for him to chase?

oh, stu hasnt answered my question, but i wont be rude as i dont want to ruin this thread.

What does anyone else think about the tiredness of chelsea lately?
does anyone else think that without essien and ballack we could swamp the midfield?

That in itself is a problem. Your allegiance to your club should be stronger than any reasons due to your location or the fans around you. In your case you live in London thus have to put up with a lot of Chelsea fans.

Man U along with Everon are our biggest rivals and always will be! Also, why would you want ManU (a team only 3 league titles away from us) to win the title when Chelsea have a mere 3?

Strange.

Over the past 2 seasons we've knocked Chelsea out of a major cup at the semi final stage, love to make it 3 on the trot.

I hate the Mancs more than Everton, Leon would call that incredible (or something worse) because he comes from Liverpool and for him Everton are the main rivals. A lot depends on where you come from and who's fans you get to take stick from if you lose.

Dawson comes from down south so he will get stick from Chelsea and Arsenal fans more than mancs.

I dont get it, we are LIVERPOOL, so why are so many people cacking themselves about this game??, Rafa will, as always, set us up to get through. Please those of you lucky enough to have tickets for the home leg dont let your anxiety get to the players, if we replicate the same, if not better, atmospere as last time, we go through,COME ON!!!! I cant stand the Daily Express, but a fella had it in  work today.

It reckons Gerrard will play on the left!!

I doubt that VERY much - Rafa has jibbed that idea. (hopefully)

Ballack and Essien out.

Surely that gives us the impetus to dominate the midfield.

As I said before, I'd go 4-4-2 with Gerrard on the right.

But got a feeling Rafa will go 4-4-1-1 with Gerrard in the hole and Pennant right.

Disagree. I think a 3-2 loss is the best result in any european first leg away game.

Yeah Stu , at 2-2 Rafa is hoping we concede another just so the lads are motivated for the next leg .

Get a clue lad and stop spouting psychobabble sh'ite.
