We need a couple of players who can stick the ball in the net at the moment if it's not the forwards and gerrard and alonso then we dont take the chances, sometimes  you only get 1 or 2 chances a match and they have to be taken :(

The thing is we've had more than 1 or 2 chances :(

Ano Dward thats my point, we have chances, untold and miss what chance you got when you have only 1 or 2 in a match.

Remember the FA cup final when Owen scored 2 goals in something like the last 5 mins i think, unbelievable finishes real poachers goals. Except maybe Gerrard i can't think of any strikers in our team that has that in the armory.

my old man just said that, we havnt got a prolific goal scorer, take for example the charlton game, we could ov lost that, due to not puttin the ball away,

but i think rafa is happy with his striker setup and i dnt think he will be in the market for one in jan or the summer

To be honest i wasn't hopeful of a win especially with our away record. I would have quite happily taken a draw. Considering thay had just been spanked by Arsenal they were always going to be up for the game and you have to give them credit, they worked hard. Saying that, if we had taken a few chances in the 1st half the game would have been dead and buried. Anyway onto the next game, away to Spurs.

Wasn't expecting us to win today [even though we haven't lost to Blackburn at their ground since 1996], but we should had won it.

We had enough chances in the game to put the game away and lackluster finishing cost us once again [sound familiar?].

Not enough quality from our wide men today and was Gerrard playing at all?

We missed a bit of quality and physical presence [Sissoko].

Now we've dropped to fifth place and have another difficult game away to Spurs where we haven't won there in ages. They'll be looking for some revenge after the trashing they received at Anfield earlier this season.

It seemed that our players played and settled for a draw at half-time.

Missed opportunity to close the gap on Chelsea.
