Don't forget that Man U bought Rooney when he was out injured. So long as it's not the same old break again, this may not necessarily change anything from a transfer point of view. It'll be interesting what noises come from Lyon and Marseille now.

The shin is the most common kind of leg break. If it hasn't punctured the skin, the average recovery time is 6-8 weeks. Pins will only be necessary if there are multiple fractures.
All of this is speculation of course. We'll have to wait and see what the prognosis is.
Obviously it is a little tasteless to think about how this affects the potential money resulting from a transfer to France, but let's not forget that Cisse himself wants the transfer. Even if his recovery is swift, his dream of returning home may well be scuppered by this appalling piece of bad luck.

The same thought crossed my mind and then I thought "Don't be such a kunt , thinking about the financial ramifications when this could possibly signal the end of the fella's realistic top flight career"
If it was one of our hero's none of us woulld be talking about the money .Maybe this signifies just how disloyal some of us can be .No wonder some players go for the money while they can get it .
Thats why I dont hold it against anyone looking to make us much as possible for them and their family. You never know when your last game will be.
It just makes me sick . Imagine yourself in Cissie's shoe's , lyin' in hospital recovering and maybe (just maube) you log on to a site like this and all you see is a bunch of so called supporters moaning about the fact that "we'll get f*ck all for him now "
IT'S A F*CKING DISGRACE .

Agree with you there woof. It's not right no matter how much you don't like the guy to be thinking about how little the club will get for him now. There won't be many of us on here that haven't thought how this is going to affect any transfer but we have to forget that. This is a young mans livelyhood and not matter how rich he is we must rally behind him and just wish the poor sod well and hope he makes a full recovery.
