If Cisse goes we need to get Bellamy or someone decent, not Defoe or any of that :censored:.
At the moment we are looking to have these 2 strikers:
FOWLER - A NATURALLY GOOD PLAYER, BUT LETS FACE IT, HE IS TOO OLD NOW
CROUCH - FINISH IS POOR, NO PACE, NO SKILL, JUST LANKY.

Worrying.

yeah and before we had fowler, crouch, morientes and cisse...we're ridding the squad of the deadwood like cisse and morientes and we're certain to bring in a couple of quality strikers in their place very soon and crouch and fowler will be backup, its not like we aren't going to replace them

Cisse be amazing for lyon? PAH! Face it he's a p!ss poor striker with poor attitude and needs to go now

Cisse has dug his own grave at Liverpool now.....there's no way on earth Rafa is going to let this go.

We should keep him and let the :censored: rot on the bench.

I have defended him earlier but this has just gone on to far.

It will just add to his ego now that he could say he quit before Rafa actually sold him on. If he honestly still thought he had a future at the club even after the champions league win he must be totally brain dead. Everyone knew that the writing was on the wall for him way back. He is not up to the job at all and i also reckon if he hadnt got injured 2 seasons ago and Baros had listened to what the boss told him to do instead of playing for himself Cisse could of been old news by now. We might have been discussing where Baros was going to go.

agree 100%.  Cisse hasn't been good enough and thats been the bottom line here.  Cisse has the first touch of a pub footballer and often refuses to pass the ball...even when he cannot score!  I honestly thought he might stay tho, because he does get goals and can shoot very well.  But with all said and done, Rafa has obviously told Cisse that he's not staying, hence his outburst.  Hopefully (with the rumours of 3-4 clubs after him) we will get 9-10 million for him.

Well there goes Cisse's chance of making most popular player at Liverpool then :D

The man's a joke , always has been and unless he grows up a LOT in the coming years always will be.

I'm past getting angry with him, I've used up all my angst paying good money to watch him and be sold short almost every time ???

I think Gary Mac mentioned it earlier but all this African dancing and giving his shirt away after games doesn;t and didn't wash with your regualr LFC fan. it might look good on TV but we know a mercenary when we see one ???

Spot on. I think he's bang out of order tbh, rather than speaking to Rafa peronsally he just goes out and whines like a b!tch to the press.

I'll be glad to be rid of him, his attitude stinks. 14 million, what a fukn waste.

I really hope he scores a few in the World Cup though....at least get us a bit more of our £14 mill back.....with Nando gone and Ciise almost certain to go now I am even more hopeful of seeing both Defoe and Kuyt come in....with Crouch and Robbie that would be a good group of strikers

Hopefully Cisse will go soon so Rafa can go shopping. I just hope Rafa can get the right players and we dont end up having to buy leftovers and second rate squad players. The problem we will have now buying strikers is similar to the Mancs problem buying midfield players, everybody knows they desperately need midfield players so they bump up the price. Owens buyout clause may become very attractive before too long.

I don't hate Ciise, even after these comments. He loves playing football, that much is clear and to be totally fair to the guy he hasn't been given a real run of games in the starting eleven as a striker. He spent most of his first season with a broken leg and most of second season on the bench and he is clearly very frustrated.
I do totally trust in Rafa's judgement however and there are reasons Ciise hasn't started very often, he hasn't shone when he has played and maybe he doesn't train well, I don't know.
The way I look at it it is just time for a parting of the ways. Ciise needs more first team football and he is just not going to do a job for us. We've had enough of him, Rafa has had enough of him but equally he has had enough of us. SUits everyone for him to go. No hard feelings, he tried and he showed passion but just not meant to be

Rafa watched him every day in training, that is where you prove yourself and obviously didnt make a good impression. I always believed that Rafa was going to keep him until he could make back some of what the club lost on him.
Understandably Cisse is trying to do what is best for his career, he wants  go somewhere where he is the star, he says he loves Liverpool and then he spits on the club by forcing the manager to let him leave on bad terms.

Thanks for the goals
but
Good Riddance
