Are you drunk or something? Do you think we paid his wages for the past few years through the bad times to sell him for a loss just when he comes good? Kewell played out of his skin and I credit him with leading Liverpool to victory over Chelsea in the semi final.
Kewell is working hard and getting back to the form he showed at Leeds. As a player when you come off a long injury or a bad spell, playing football becomes a laborious task, but when the first goal comes in (for me at least because I play as a striker) or you absolutely skin geremia and ferreira down the wing, and generally have a solid game, then you build confidence, and when your confidence is high you become a better player, your passes find their targets and believe it or not. You start to have fun out there!! This is where Kewell is, he's finally over the hump and having fun again!!
Why would we even think of selling him? If someone must be sold who would you choose? A premiership proven player that if sold would represent a loss, or an unproven talent that could be sold for a profit? Naturally I'd love to see Gonzalez come to LFC, but am merely trying to articulate what a crazy rumor and perspective this is coming from.\
Final Verdict: Kewell - LFC Player for the forseeable future
