Apparantly Liverpool football Club are at the centre of an investigation over a match fixing scandal.

During last July when Liverpool faced the Welsh league Champions TNS at the racecourse to regain the most Prestigious trophey in european football, Mike harris the chairman of TNS was approached by some of Liverpool top officials who apparantly bribed the TNS outfit to take a Fall for the match.

Wirral-based David Kirwan a solicitor for LFC says the TNS outfit are just out to get a Xash injection from LFC to boost there chances of getting further in the CL 2007/8 season, David Kirwan also said that he has talked to Liverpools top officials and they say that liverpool would never get involved with match fixing or any other scandal to boost liverpools Stance on the European front. David Kirwan also said that when Uefa spoke to him about the matter at hand and if Liverpool were found to be guilty of Match fixing they could be stripped of the fifth trophey and banned from European football for 5 years or untill they qualify for 5 times.
