I'd go for the following team:

                                         Reina
                        JC              Sami           Agger
Kromkamp                                                                 Riise
                                        Sissoko
                      Alonso                          Kewell
                                 Crouch
                                              Fowler.

This team should beat them out of sight, with Garcia entering the fray after about 60 minutes.

Agree that 3-5-2 is the way to go against teams like West Brom Lando. Cant see us losing though - they might catch us napping and get one goal but its doubtful.  Our biggest problem will be if lucks on their side and their goal lives a charmed life IMO.

West Brom have had a problem scoring goals all season only netting 28 times so far. That's the fourth worst record with only Portsmouth, Birmingham and Sunderland below them. Defensively they're not much better having the fifth worst record in the league with the only Pompey, Sunderland, Middlesborough and Fulham having conceded more that West Brom's 47 goals against.

You can't even say that WBA have at least kept the ball and stifled the opposition as even Sunderland beat them on the time in posession stat!

The baggies have a pretty reasonable run in too all things considered. After us they face Villa (A), Arsenal (A), Bolton (H), Newcastle (A), West Ham (H) and Everton (A).  I can't see them playing out of their skins against us, I think they'll be concentrating on trying to  get points at Villa, Newcastle, West Ham and Everton tbh.

Their stats also show that their goal's fair game from just about anywhere in their own half.  18 goals conceded from outside the box, 22 inside and 7 from inside the six yard area.  Looks to me like they don't close down very well at all which could be good news for Riise, Kewell and Alonso.

The only formation change I'd make to yours Lando is swapping Sissoko and Alonso around to keep Xabi in the middle.  I'm going for 4-0.

I cant understand why anyone would not put Crouch in their starting 11. Realisitcly he is the only striker that (you could say without doubt,) is in Rafa's long-term plans. Everyone else is either on their way out, not good enough or a short term fix to a long-term problem.
His second half of the season has been fantastic, hes got amoungst the goals and has proved himself as Liverpool quality. I am not saying that we dont need to bring in another striker, we do, but anyone who still doesnt rate him (let me quote Rafa on this) "does not understand football."

Looking forward to a good game that we should win comfortably.
I would like to see Rafa play more of the 5 across the back line, something like this:

                               Reina
           Carragher       Hypia         Agger
Kronky/finnan                                 Riise/Warnock

                  Sissoko              Alonso

        Crouch            Fowler                       Kewell

I really like the way that Crouch handles himself when he plays more of a wide-right striker as he runs at defenders well and keeps his head up well. I am definately not saying that he should be a winger, i just think that sometimes he struggles when he goes straight down the middle. Almost all of his goals seem to come from when he attacks from either the slight left/right.
Imagine........ half-field passes to Crouch 35 yards out on the 45 degree angle. Fowler would thrive on some nice balls played in from there while the WBA defence has lost it's shape.
Well thats my dream anyway :p

And put fowler on at about 60_70 mins for ether garcia or crouch.

We should get a comfortable win ill go for a good 3 or 4- 1.

Fowlers missed the past like 2 games, its his turn to start

Sorry m8 are we talking about football or a game on the sofa.
It’s his turn to start?.
Crouch is scoring goals and Garcia but we will play fowler because its his turn sorry I don’t get your point.

think squad rotation, thats what he is on about  :;):

I still have NOT seen Cisse played together with Fowler, maybe this game RAfa will let them play together.

For those thinkin WBA will be a walk through the park are very much wrong we wont be getting our annual 4-5 goals against them this time.
They gave Spurs a tough game through the week and probably should have got a draw.
We have no Gerrard and away from home this will be the test if the players can step up to the plate.
Im going for 2-1 win for us.
They are a tough relegation fighting team it wont be easy.

                                 Reina

Finnan                carra                Hyypia           Riise

Cisse/Kromkamp     Sissoko           Alonso            Kewell

                         Garcia

                                  Crouch.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I really dont think this is going to be a walk in the park like the previous fixtures against the baggies have been, but i think we will still walk away with the 3 pts. They stayed up by the skin of their teeth last season by stringing a few results together late on, so i rekon they'll be up for it as they are in the same position now, dont forget they have beat Arsenal, Tottenham and Blackburn this season so it shows on their day they have the ability and could take us by suprise. I rekon we'll take it tho, 1-0 like the previous fixture, Id be happy with that against a scrapping Albion!!

For me Cisse is our best right right midfielder. He is by no means brilliant but he can get past the opposing full back with his pace and his crossing ability isnt too bad. The team i wojuld go with is

                       Reina

Finnan         JC          Hyypia      Riise

Cisse         Alonso     Sissoko       Kewell

                             Garcia

                      Crouch

Remove Cisse and add Harry on the left, and I think that is what we will see.
