Bandwagonners. Earlier in the season, they critisized us as much as possible. In fact many journalists and pundits claimed that we wouldn't finish in the top five.

I agree........

they are only saying we will finish top 3 .......not because we are playing so well, but because Arsenal are not playing well.............its a totally different kind of praise that is.

Stu. calm down ffs. We won 2-0 against a poor side and you are handin' out 8's and 9's for the lot. It was a good win , yes. But not spectacular. That poo souness team is lucky to avoid relegation and should be hammered at anfield

We won 2-0 against a side that have some quality but do not have a proper manager, however that side won the last 3 games one of them against Arsenal. Poor or not, you can only beat whats in front of you. Don't talk out of your a$$. We lost to an even worse Newcastle team last season at their place.

At Anfield whilst we won last season, we were not as impressive as we were today. We didn't need to go overboard by scoring 5 goals when we have 3 games comming up in a week.

The sending off, imo allowed us to slow down a bit and we need all the rest we can get.

They couldn't have done more than they did. Owen never had a sniff all game, Newcastle had 1 attempt from 30 yards. We should have scored about 5 AT LEAST, could have been 7 or 8 in all reality.

The only thing wrong was finishing, for you to critisize/play down that today shows what kind of "supporter" you are and what your level of football knowledge is... VERY LIMITED.

Yeah i cant complain about today. We have a busy schedule coming up and we cant go full out against every team. We won very convincingly, 8th win in a row in the prem i dont see how anyone can be unhappy

You can only beat whats in front of you, people are getting nitpicky about things.

Things will get tough however, I expect Everton to play better than they have as of late and thus making things difficult. I mostly concerned about the injuries we might pick up in that game.

I believe we should get a comfortable win but they could make it very difficult especially it being a derby. It happened with sao paolo when we underestimated our opposition and even though we dominated them for the whole match we ended up losing.

I completely agree. I don't expect it to be what the majority think. It won't be a cricket scoreline, they will be up for it more than for any game this season because they've been :censored: and need a reasult. Along with the fact that it's a derby.

Even George Graham (pr!ck) said it was like a practise match , we were that good .

I think it was a case of Liverpool making the toons just plain ordinary , ok we all think there could of been more goals but we totally dominated and Newcastle didnt look like scoring at all
