Gerrard was too eager to take the kick. Was put off by Van Der Saar who took his time. Went for power instead of placement :angry:

Don't they practise taking penalty in training especially after the recent misses? Gosh these are guys earning >£40,000 per week, surely they can do better.

Look at the bright side...at least we won a corner :laugh:
