Why wouldn't you want Gerrard to take penalties? As we all know he may not be the best, but he is the captain and the team needs him there if it comes down to penalties...

Don't take chances, better practice. With a striker like Milan Baros ans a stout defence like Milan's a total lock-out is very likely. Better prepare...

regardless everyone on this forum see's Gerrard as a winner, and winner's should always want the game in their hands when it comes down to the wire. The more I think of it I would want Cisse as he has worked his :censored:

off to get in shape. But if you looked at both Manchester United and Arsenal both their captains took their 5th penalty...

I think there is every chance this will go to penalties.

we are good defensively, and maybe be able to keep them out, but if we dont score first half, we may struggle.
