would this be happening in all the countries? Coz in some countries its ieven worse than ours.

In the A-League the New Zealand Knights have 2 or 3 Kiwis. Not many really considering squad size is limited to 20.

Great shout there sabre; another point that seems to have been slightly overlooked here is that by dictating to clubs the amount of young players they have to have in their teams will almost certainly lead to clubs like :censored:$ki, Manu$hited in the UK real madrid, barcelona, juventus, inter and Ac Milan using their financial muscle to cherry pick the cream of their country's young talent; we're already seeing this at the moment with the pending battle for young walcott at southampton; rules that have already been put in place to battle these  instances occuring - like clubs are only able to sign young players from within a certain mile radius of the club are being bent by the clubs moving a hot prospects whole family to within that radius.

IMO much stricter laws should be put in place like maybe restricting clubs to only being able to sign young prospects that have been born within this mythical radius of their club, surely this couldn't be worked around as the kids birth certificate would prove whether or not the kid was eligible to sign for that club and with the certificates being recorded in Somerset house there would be an indipendent body already in place to govern this rule. The only way to get around this rule would be to go talent spotting SPERM or something.  :D

IMO where a player comes from has no negative impact on the strength of a country's domestic league. In fact it could be argued that by maximising the quality of the football seen week in and week out at grounds across the country encourages more home grown talent. Go down to any under 12s training nights and you'll see kids trying to emulate their hero's step overs, tricks and flicks. Would they be doing that without exposure to the flair that so many foreign players exhibit?

Limiting the numbers of foreign players in any league only condemns that country to stagnate in terms of footballing style and could possibly make the gulf between the strong footballing nations and the weak even larger than it is now.

If FIFA really want to curtail the development of 'super clubs' then salary caps of some kind may be a better avenue to explore.
