rafa is verry clever in keeping owens name out of the media this is to force madrid into a panic sale going into the last week owen said late last night i want to return to liverpool but if the deal cant be done in time i will go to newcastle on a 1 yeays loan now the way owen said if the deal cant be done in time ? this tells me rafa and parry are in deep talks with madrid for owen the problem will be the fee liverpool will not want to pay anymore than they sold him for and madrids president has agreed to help michael return to liverpool. after last night more than ever we need owen back no doubt about it

rafa said he is happy with the strikers that we have GOT.....have we already GOT Owen, is Rafa playing with words and us??

what i am surprised about is that judging by MO's comments it appears that RM are willing to let him go to Newcastle on a loan but Liverpool would have to be a formal transfer - greedy :censored:

. We'd have to believe Rafa would take him on loan for a year given the option as there is really very little downside to us from such a deal.

also is it just me or did Stevie not have a cheeky grin on his face when facing all the MO questions last night after the game - does he know something? (not seen him grin like that for a while)

Watching the Real Madrid v. MLS game, I can't wait to see MO come back to us. I think that he has had it and I wouldn't be surprised if he is being treated like sh!t. I think that the pure anger of being effectually used as a cheap concubine is going to make him ferocious. I just hope his confidence isn't affected. (that's my 2 cents)

If real will let owen go 2 newcastle on a years long loan, then would they let us do the same. Then there wouldnt be the trouble of having to compromise other tranasfer dealings, because he would come with a small or no fee at all and with real paying a share of his wages. The only reason i ask is that madrid might not allow him to be loaned to us, they could claim that we are in direct competition with them, where as newcastle are not. This would not violate the option we have on him cause they wouldnt in fact be selling him, we would have no say in this loan deal

hey lakes rafa is one cool fish you better believe he is playing with us, but the best thing about this lakes is michael saying the real chief president is going to help thrash out a deal with liverpool this president is the key to owen returning... im praying for this to happen :nod

funny you should say that, my mate was over last night and when Stevie said that bit and the way he looked my mate said "we mate looks likeyou already have him" not too sure about that yet
