I'm absolutely baffled that there aren't more top clubs voicing an interest in Owen (regradless of the fact they all know he wants to come home.)
Most criticism of Mikey points to his lack of all-around game, inability to hold the ball up, loss of pace (compared to his early years) but you can say anything you like about the lad. His goal record over the years compares to just about every striker in world football.
If Michael had spent his life playing interantional football for Luxembourg i'd bet his goal record would only be marginally worse than his record for England. Michael Owen would score goals for ANY team he played in. I cannot believe Arsenal (with Reyes and Van Persie unproven and Bergkamp in his final year) have not moved for the lad.

but he's definately not goin!
cause maureen, and ferige
dont need a midget,
neither does rafa
cause he wont even fit into the new junior size liverpool kit!
he's small
and ok on the ball,
he scores the odd goal
but for leaving LFC he is an A**hole!
