will Baros really sit out football for the next 1.5 years?  i'm sure Parry and RAfa are aware of his contract and if he doesn't sign a new one...they will get rid.

Rafa could take his squad number like he did with Diouf  and perhaps that will change Milan's mind.

Yessssss,my lovely baros is staying put. He's my ideal partner for cisse or moro. But i really hope the title can change into ' Gerrard penned a new ten years deal' ....

Anyway,i think Baros can get past his embarrasment by next season onwards and start makes him proven than anybody.

Ideal partner for Cisse? Did you miss the first half of the season? That was a horrid partnership.

Baros and Morientes haven't played alongside each other as well.

Lyon have not given up hope of signing Milan Baros from Liverpool.

The Czech Republic international has recently stated he intends to stay on Merseyside with the Reds, who are happy to keep him as part of their plans for the coming season.

This seemed to have ended Lyon’s hopes of signing the 23-year-old, yet the chairman of the French champions are clearly still keen to strike a deal.

"Milan is clearly tied to Liverpool,” said Jean-Michel Aulas. "We have not lost all hope of recruiting him. Baros remains on our list."

I wouldnt keep him for the simple reason that he never looks like being able to play with any one of our strikers. If i hadnt seen him for czech republic id say he cant play with partners at all so what is it that he can do 4 czechs that he cant do 4 us. You could say its the fact that the czechs partner him with a 7 foot monster (koller) to knock the ball on 4 him, but we've bought morientes who, to be fair, does not struggle to win many headers

another problem iv noticed is his finishing. when he plays 4 us he sems to panic when in 1 on 1 situations, but everyone knows he can finish like he did in the euros only last summer.

really we should look at selling him and buying a player like kuyt, whose record shows that he does score a lot of goals and also gets a lot of assists. Baros can score, which we know but we also know that when he has the ball there is him and only him on the pitch. he just simply doesnt pass.

he has been a decent servant to this club, but i feel he has done all he can

Well said, everyone knows he's a great player, but he still isn't right for LFC, and we have run out of patience.  Kuyt on the other hand will not opnly be able to accept support from our midfield, but also support them through assists.  SELL BAROS, GET KUYT.  I'ts really that simple.

I can tell frankly that i am not such impress by kuyt despite he score 29 goals last season in dutch league. Even though i watched the netherlands national team friendly match but i still can't found he's that that kind of striker we want.

Let's flash back to our last season. Although Baros can't satisfy what we'd been expected on him,but didn't he just try all his best to score a goal by running hardly and strongly. Baros is my first choice.

Heskey used to try his hardest too.. but he's gone because he simply wasn't good enough.
We really do need a proper goal scorer!

Heskey??? omg

He just run as a crazy buffalo against the defenders then showed a yellow card but my lovely baros can show his ability to flick past the defenders wisely.

I knew it....people will only remeber the goalscorer but not the story behind.
