So, now back to the topic. We always talk about we lack of quality Strikers. It seems everytime when our striker is not performing well, he got criticized big time saying he is not good enough for LFC and we should just sell him off and in return try to buy this or that. Its just a matter of time Morientes will get the same treatment if he became our main striker while Baros is gone. I'm not saying Morientes is worse than Baros, I'm just saying whoever played for us as striker is never good enough in our fans eyes. It seems all the speculated strikers we are going to buy is better than what we have now. If they actually play for us, instantly he no longer is good for us. So, the best strikers we are gonna to have is the one that we never buy. Its just a vecious circle and someone elses strikers is always better than we have. :glare:

Why not compare Baros with Ronaldo in his prime - Baros is meant to be in his prime now. The point was that you were claiming Baros is a good striker, one who can give Liverpool Fans what they want, a successful Liverpool. I am just disagreeing with you. I don't rate Baros as an effective striker, who can consistantly score 20+ goals a season. Ronaldo, when he was Baros' age, was!

nah i rate baros we shoudnt sell him he misses a lot of chances but he scores goals to i mean look at the way he played in the chanpions league he waz on fire still do id luv to see leroy lita at anfield ive been going on about the young boy for ages now he well gd he gt a hatrick on sataurday wot a great way to to do it 21 mins it took him brillialant player 35 yard cracker we should get him hell atleast get 15 goalz a season

Morientes is good enough, Owen and Fowler and Rush were good enough.

Heskey and Collymore at there very best were good enough.

Baros isn't and never will be. He'd be an excellent third choice for any team, but he's made it clear he thinks he should be first choice. Time for him to move on. Not good enough.
