Hopefully he won't be another babbel

Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has stepped up his rehabilitation from the broken leg he suffered in October.

The £14m forward began running at the club's Melwood training complex for the first time in four months on Thursday.

The France international, who fractured both the tibia and fibia in his left leg against Blackburn, will definitely miss the rest of this season.

But he is now hitting the comeback trail, and club doctor Mark Waller said: "Djibril started running on Thursday which is great news.

"He is doing really well and we're all delighted. He's on schedule to be fit for the start of next season."
