Yeah, I suppose....it is about time that Jamie Carragher should take over from Stevie's captaincy now. We need power like Roy Keane to snarl at any players if they play too many mistakes, so Jamie can sort it out with the players very quickly.

Agreed.  When was the last time you saw SG try to motivate the players around him.  Say all you like about Keane, but he is a fu<king great captain - 110% committed to the scum's cause, and he can tackle!

Why do you think Carragher should take over the captaincy?

Gerrard doesn't deserve to be even compared with Roy Keane.  Last week proved that.  Gerrard can run up and down the pitch as often as he wants but what he lacks is the mental toughness of Keane, Souness and McMahon.

To snarl and shout at the under performers, and scare the sh#t out of them like he shouted at Mike Riley, plus hes the only player we have made up to play for Liverpool FC.

In his defence he's clearly carrying an injury.

Serious questions have to be asked of rafa. I am no t saying he should be sacked or whatever, but :

1)His insistance on presevering with garcia is ridiculous.
2)And what's with starting the match with 2 unfit players (pelle & morientas). All this talk about playing morientas until he gets match fit is bull.... We should bring on morientas as a 2nd half sub until he get match fit (and also play him with the reserves).
3)And for god's sake, play carra at centreback. He was the reason why our defence was somewhat ok earlier in the season. Sticking with 2 slow coaches as hyppia & pelle..... WTF ?

REALLY FEELING F#CKED UP.......WHAT THE F#CK HAPPEN AFTER THE WBA GAME ? WE HAVE BEEN PLAYING BADLY SINCE THEN.

I will try to cool down and come back later.....or i will surely get banned.

i think that part of our problem that we our to nice we have no bite the last 3 matches were partly lost because we were too slow to get any loose ball's and our tackling was so poor and we lacked the commitment of the other team i dont want us to turn into another wimbeldon but they used to put the wind up the other team, we have to find a balance of skill and controlled aggresion, to start worrying the other team as it is now they don't fear us, as bill shankly use to say the oppersition would have already lost before they got on the pitch.

Lynds - agreed that Carra puts in 100% each match, but I don't really see him as a leader on the pitch. He sets a good example for others with his workrate but Im not sure he'd want the responsibility of motivitating others, deciding who takes set-plays etc.

Ermm :sleepy: read the above, Gerrard will probably be off soon.

I one of a few that couldn't care less and that's the truth obviously people will say we can't keep our best player and yada yada yada or something to that affect  :glare: BUT so what.

Aslong as we know what we are doing as a club who cares about anybody else eh? i mean i hate people slagging my team but what can I do absolutely nothing it's up to every involved from the chairman down to show they mean business so getting rid of players who won't fight for the cause is a clear indication that we are putting two fingers up to everybody.

Let's get tough and stop acting like a wimpy f@ckin club of nancy boys.

Here are my TWO FINGERS.

Don't you dare misquote me: I said that questions must be asked of the manager, not sack him.

Suggest I go and support Chelsea?

Out the team today apart from Morientes, I would only have Pongo, Baros, Carra and Hypia, the rest stunk the joint out :glare:

At least with the likes of Carra, we can be guaranteed a workmanlike performance everytime. Might not be the prettiest around but every team needs a few like him to compliment those erratic "gifted ones". I am also pleased with the work rate of Milan. However, just as we praised the re-emergence of Riise, he gave us a couple of lacklustre performances this past weeks...sigh!

Anyone surprised at the sudden drop in Stevie's input? No me...May just coincides with him decided upon his future employer?

Yet again another must win game and they respond by getting beat with another sh1t performance
Thats the last game I watch now until we are above Everton and back in the top four, I dont give a sh1t about the Mickey Mouse cup.
I have stuck by them for long enough and as far as Im concerned I hope they are on their own and no other mug decides to watch them.
As for Benitez the man is clueless

There lies our problem...some of these players knew they will not be dropped because there isn't anyone to take their place right now (specifically referring to our midfield quartet)

Oh, I am dying for Kewell, Finnan and Alonso to be back...and maybe the anouncement of Aimar coming this way.
