Saturday the day to spot new players - Cup tied players not on wish list

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

i take your point completely, leon. but on this occaission the fact that he has a back injury kinda muddles the theory. maybe keegan would've played him if he was fit as we're not the only team looking at him

I personally don't believe that Anelka has a back injury. When Keegan was asked about Anelka's situation he seemed nerveous, he knows that Anelka wants to leave and I think Anelka is saying he's injured so the Man City fans don't make a big comition.

According to www.teamtalk.com

Fenerbache have also joined the race for Anelka

So maybe it's not done & dusted

That is my point exactly.

Read it again Andy, the fact Anelks will not be cup tied in the FA Cup and will be available for the CL is the point.

By playing in the "6 minute game" Morientes did not get cup tied for the FA cup !  :D

There is good strikers in the lower league but people seem to think if u play in the premiership your good enough to play for your national team.Look at Ricketts when he was at Bolton he played for England and James beattie  :)
