He gave away 2 goals... played Postiga onside for the second... how can he be in the first team. Houllier ought to be shot!

I said it before, the sh##e Biscan got away last week but not this week. He is utterly cr@p and why does that inept toad likes to play him in defense when Henchoz is fit is a great wonder. Goes to show that no matter what good GH has done to instill pride and workmanlike attitude to Liverpool compared to the Spice Boys era, all the progress keeps getting undone on the field by bewildering tactics and even more bewildering decisions to play players out of position!
Why do you think GH likes Biscan sooooo much, Big Al? I am not looking for logical answers, just hope you can humor me to get over this painful defeat today...

Azriahmad as many people here know I'm unofficially Biscan and Houlier's biggest Critics.  Perhaps they are lovers.  Maybe Its because Houliers spend £7 million on the worst palyer to pull on the red shirt in years.  The egotistical school teacher wants to prove everyone wrong.  His ego is sadly our downfall.

Good one, Big Al. That's why I love this forum because you guys really post good threads. BTW, I thought that cr@p cost us 5.5 million pounds.
FYI, the game was shown live by the cable tv company in Asia and the game ended at 1:10 am here in Malaysia. Liverpool's style of play (largely) for the past 2 seasons has been very dour where we scrap for every win and struggle to come to terms every time we fall behind let alone overcome deficits. No entertainment value, but I am a hardcore fan. I get worked up when we lose, especially ones where we can avoid like today if the French toad played Henchoz at central defense instead of that inept Croat.
Sometimes I wonder why I stay up every Saturday to watch Liverpool play listless football.
Well, Big Al, the answer is that I guess that when one is a fan, logic takes a very far back seat...

Yeah mate your right logic goes out the window, when it comes to being a Liverpool fan.  Biscan cost 6M upfront with the balance over two years.  Just think who's currently available for that sort of money. Makes you sick!

I remembered Houllier saying that this Biscan has "potential" and is supposed to be a good defensive midfielder when he was purchased a couple of years ago. Only thing is that he was a complete unknown and bloody expensive one at that.
Compare this to Gilberto Silva, a world cup winner from Brazil who Arsenal bought for only 4.5 million, and a rarity for Brazillians, is actually good at being a defensive midfielder, even scores some goals, works hard, has more skills than Biscan, is proven internationally and most of all, can adapt to the English game when so few Brazillians can in the past.
Next, Houllier wants to buy Cisse for some 14 million. Although he is a proven goal scorer, don't you thing that he is a wee bit too expensive for a player who is not quite a regular international and we may end up with another "Biscan" - expensive misfit who is sh##e!
That guy who calls himself a manager must surely go!

Hopefully this game will see the end of Biscan as centre-half and get Henchoz back in the middle with Hyypia! !

Our inept manager doesn't even know that midfielders like Biscan is NOT a defender! The same goes for the other players he keeps playing out of their natural position.
It is very worrying that this keeps going on and on and when the players he plays out of position does not perform, he goes and buys more unknown cr@p who gets to be played out of position as well.
How much longer, Houllier?

It average at best players like Biscan that sum up Liverpool at the moment. It hurts to say it but none of the top sides other than Liverpool have players of such low quality playing regular first team football.

What's wrong with playing the central defensive pair that so much of our recent sucess has been built on - Hyypia & Henchoz.
