I remembered Houllier saying that this Biscan has "potential" and is supposed to be a good defensive midfielder when he was purchased a couple of years ago. Only thing is that he was a complete unknown and bloody expensive one at that.
Compare this to Gilberto Silva, a world cup winner from Brazil who Arsenal bought for only 4.5 million, and a rarity for Brazillians, is actually good at being a defensive midfielder, even scores some goals, works hard, has more skills than Biscan, is proven internationally and most of all, can adapt to the English game when so few Brazillians can in the past.
Next, Houllier wants to buy Cisse for some 14 million. Although he is a proven goal scorer, don't you thing that he is a wee bit too expensive for a player who is not quite a regular international and we may end up with another "Biscan" - expensive misfit who is sh##e!
That guy who calls himself a manager must surely go!
