What I miss is how devasting our trio of Mane,Salah and Firmino were. What Klopp created with them was world class.

He was always aiming for that role after leaving LFC. It's a less tiring managerial job, less games, no transfers etc, so it's exactly what he said he needed. I'm just glad he didn't go to any foreign rival like Real Madrid and the like. Best of luck to him, I hope he does well with the German national team.

Hearing rumors Guardiola might take on an international job as well (maybe Italy), old rivals in new roles might be interesting to watch.

I'd love him to win the next world cup i really would. He was incredible for us, we hadnt won the title for 30 years, should have won at least a couple more as well.

Will his heavy metal football work for an international side? You have a much bigger pool of players to choose from as a club coach but as a national manager the number of quality players is limited. Can he convince older players to run all game? Also they only meet every blue moon so unless their teams play that way, players cannot just suddenly adopt that style in the two weeks when they meet. International managers should be very tactical rather than motivational, I’m not sure Klopp is that tactical. It will be interesting to see how he gets on but I certainly hope he does well.
