I'm fully expecting Arsenal to do the double just to put the cherry on top of this fvcking omni-shambles of a season

I think that makes it worse in my view.

The board should back or sack him.

Having a manager with less than a year on his contract will destabilise things even more. Who’s going to stay/join us when they suspect the manager is going to be gone in a matter of months?

Too tired and “in need of a break” to prepare /train for the United game. Poor babies...

The good news is Slot only has one year left on his contract so shouldn't be expensive to buy out compared to the Chelsea manager who was 60 days into a 6.1/2 year contract. See ya Slotty.

With all those holiday breaks no wonder they play like they're on "holiday mode" or post vaca vibes.

Also quite telling about how training regiment goes.

Hes always moaning about the amount of games but yet doesn't train his players to be able to cope with it. The drop off in fitness over the last year is frightening. If he stays that has to improve massively. Id prefer he was gone and we start with a fresh approach because I fear he wont change.

The players coming in this year need to be the right ones that add energy, steel and balance to the side. Don't have to be superstars either. We had an identity under Klopp that was press press press and we got players who where good at that. Slot needs to figure out what his is quickly and get players to make it happen. No amount of excuses will save him if we start next season badly.

I'd prefer end of seasons we move him on, get a new man who can have a full pre-season and snap his own players. I just can't see things changing much with Slot. Brodge sito Mk2. Only difference Brodge didn't win the title.

Rodgers might have won the title if he inherited Klopps team, like slot did

The world cup is definitely going to shorten pre season for all teams. A win vs Chelsea more aless cements UCL qualification for next season. So id part ways with Arne after that game, and bring a new manager in with a couple of games left and let him see where we could improve for next season. Im hoping we've already contacted the future manager and hes already working with his team behind the scenes on who to bring in next season.

Think he goes in the Summer. Will have one year on his contract and I can't see an appetite from our side to extend.

I think we may have a conversation with Klopp but sounds like he is currently enjoying life. Realistically, you'd think it will be Alonso although I can see us making a move for Enrique to.

There's a huge disconnect with Arne and the fans. I'm not sure if its because we saw Klopp as one of us or if its just the way Arne is. He answered a question on why the fans were booing after he took Rio off, and he just shrugged it off saying Rio felt something and wanted to come off.. The people talking don't know whats happening off the pitch.

Its like he's always in a fight against the fans who are frustrated.. but the bottom line is we all want the same goal and thats to work together and try and be successful.

He said something about the summer transfer window and “wait til next season”. Maybe he’s thinking that there is nothing he can do or say until next season when we will be better (in his mind). Everyone is blaming him but the players are letting him down, the players owe the club more than what they are giving. We have no leaders in the team anymore. I think team fitness is a major issue and that is on Slot and his coaching staff.

Does anyone think we’ll beat villa?

At this rate, we’ll end the season with a nervous final game of the season where anything short of a win will see us lose CL football next season.

What a mess.

My biggest problem is that Slot seems oblivious to what the problem actually is. When he was asked about the fans booing the team (which is wrong IMO and makes both the team and the fans look bad) he said something like it must be because we didn't win. He's not even aware that our biggest gripe is not the results per se but the pedestrian performance we see week in week out and the obvious lack of fitness in the side. I read somewhere that we're the first side Chelsea has outrun this season which says it all. The fact that Slot doesn't even aknowledge this as a problem tells me that he's not gonna fix anything come next season.

Slot is keeping the Dutch players in the team because it's a World Cup year, he wants them playing so they selected for the national team, where, they always seem to shine. For instance Gakpo. He's a different animal for the national team, don't be suprised if he doesn't get a bag full of goals and puts in some seriously decent shifts during the Dutch charge on the World Cup.
Same with Wirtz TBH, playing in our walking football team he's average with some glimpses of class, put him in the Germany team he's ripping teams a new one.

So the  difference has to come down to the manager and the style the manager implements on the team.

My concerns started with the Salah thing, Mo's form has picked up a bit recently but before Christmas he was literally stinking the place out and never mind drop him Slot wouldnt even sub him. It's almost as if he's oblivious to the obvious, he doesnt seem to see what everyone else does, Maybe he's some sort of 4D chess playing tactical genius operating on another level to everyone else but results and performances over the past 12 to 14 months would suggest  otherwise.

Slot wont change his style and will hope we sign a few more so that can create enough excuses to get him to Christmas. The club have a problem in that he wont want to go into next season without his future sorted as he will say it undermines his position. He will push for a new deal and there's a good chance we will give it to him.

Alonso is being heavily linked to Chelsea while we are saying that we will be sticking with Slot. We could lose a good few over the summer. Salah and Robbo gone. Konate still up in the air. Allison heavily linked with Juve and lots of talk about Mc Allister going as well. They will be a big loss and create the excuses to keep him here because hes dealing with basically a new squad and needs time.

Im still hoping he walks in a few weeks as hes beginning to grate on me with his comments towards fans.
