Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby 7_Kewell » Thu Apr 09, 2026 8:52 am

Same here.

I would always get excited ahead of CL games. I’ve attended quite a few over the years, atmosphere is always electric.

But I can’t stomach this slow and ponderous football. It’s like watching paint dry and I always know we’ll lose points / games due to stupid mistakes.

Slot has really done a number on us.

I was more confident of overturning a 3 goal deficit to Barcelona and excited about that game coming up, than the PSG game Tuesday...I'm dreading it ...The crowd will try and lift the team and atmosphere but Slot will present tactics of damage limitation and eventual capitulation ..then blame the crowd players fatigue unfair PSG no game advantage blah blah
THERE'S A GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW SHINING AT THE END OF EVERY DAY.

We may perform better at home, we're 2-0 down so we've got no choice but to go for it. Heck we might even surprise everyone and take a 1-0 lead in first 15-20. But....the way we are currently playing do we really think PSG won't score. We  get easily sliced open time and time again. I think we will put on a decent show to begin with but once PSG score it'll be game over and then damage limitation.

Okay the return leg has arrived, European Cup, 2-0  down, playing the current European Champions, everyone thinks we are already out -  moments like this is what this club exists for, what Anfield was built for and what we live for.
These jokers were only formed in 1970, i've got more history than them myself, 55 years? In the old days the tuck shop at the front of the Kop had sarnie's older than that.
Lets send these fvckers packing. COYR
