If you go that far you may as well go from Milan - Domadosella - Geneva. Lovely trip.

Went marlin fishing in Cape Verde but the fish were not there, flew back via Lisbon and stayed a day. A friend who is a charter boat captain told me that the fishing was excellent right now in the Azores so I went. We managed to catch and release a 450lb, 700lb, 750lb and a 800lb Atlantic Blue Marlin. Heavy weather rolled in (happily because my arms are fecked) so waiting for the wind to come down to fish one more day. If anyone is free right now and have a big marlin on their bucket list, don’t waste time in get here quick. Conditions like these to last forever.

I’d love tp post photos but it keeps telling me file too large, how do you shrink photos that small?

I use a site called tinypic.com. You upload the pictute, resize it, and copy the url link and paste it here.

They closed the site down on Sept 16, now they forward you to photobucket and you have to pay 7.99 per month. Any other suggestions?

I managed to shrink the photo to less than 150k but what next?

you can do it handy enough Kazza on your PC or Laptop if you have access to one. Below is a link which will help guide you through the process and then you should be able to upload them directly to the forum. Another option is the snipping tool which is another feature on windows 10. Just create a new snip, Draw the box around what you want and save it.

Just below the text box in the bottom left corner beside options is the upload attachment tab. Click on it and it will open up some new options.  Click browse and navigate to where you have the image saved. When you select the file it should then appear in the small text box. Then click add file. Once that's done you will see another option below that that says place inline so just click in the main text box and submit.

It was, I got lucky and actually got 7 this trip in 6 days fishing and about the same size. This one was part of a double header (two fish hooked at the same time) and after 1 hour fighting this one i had another one on another rod I had to reel in, my arms were fecked! Stuff of dreams to be fair and I’m so happy I was there at the right time. We took about 15 mins reviving each fish and they all were released and swam away healthy, some gave me nice under water video on the GoPro as they swam away. Anyone gets a chance to catch and interact with one of these magnificent fish, you should take it, it is worth the debt you get in to do it  :D
