After the Fulham match Luis has got to play 3 games in 14 days. I think he will cope just fine. A bit of travelling won't cause him a problem. He's never had a problem in the past. Jet lag affects people differently.

BR wanted to rest Suarez last season but couldn't - this season he can

Not for the majority of people. I fly between 10 and 15 long haul flights all over the world (mainly travelling east to the US, but 25% of the time travelling west) each year, I can tell you first hand that resting is the worst thing you can do for jet lag. The key most business travellers like myself stick to - is to force yourself into the new timezone as soon as possible. That means staying awake, even if your body clock is at 2/3AM - or forcing yourself to sleep when you don't need to.
There is no magic cure for jet lag, even to footballers. We all have the same bodies with the same constraints. Footballers will have the benefit of a flat bed seat when travelling and to that extent they wont have a flight experience that exasperates the problem but the jet lag regardless will take 48-72hrs to recover from.

It sounds to me just like a bunch of fools "benny included again" trying to find a problem when their isn't one.
The lad will probably perform the same way with jet lag as he does without match practice... and just incase you missed that Benny, thats like a f*cking genius.

It is a problem with a player travelling all those miles then playing football matches in between - the guy isn't a robot and it will take a toil with the human body
It's not just the jet lag it's the stress on the human body. I would prefer to have a 100% fully fit player playing than someone running at 50%.
Players playing in South America has always been a problem for Prem Managers but most have been able to rest the players until they are fully fit again.
