Suarez is a much better player than Neymar though. Better than Bale and Cavani so in terms of footballing skills thats what he should be worth. Remove 10 for his antics so I'll settle for 50.

Neymar has proved little as of yet but playing in one of the two dominating teams in Spain will mean a few goals.

Suarez free kicks probably don't mean much to Madrid with Ronaldo there, and if Ronaldo leaves, they've got a few others who would probably get priority.

Can not wait for Suarez to leave now which is a shame. He was probably the most skillful Liverpool player i have ever watched. W as a clb and a fan base stuck by him and he has treated the club very badly.

But Suarez is always the victim

Unsettled Liverpool star Luis Suarez has reiterated his desire to leave Anfield for Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Suarez has made no secret of his desire to leave Liverpool this summer, feeling he has been victimised by referees and the media during his time in England.

The Uruguay international, who scored in his side's defeat to Spain in the Confederations Cup on Sunday, admits he would give his all to Real should he move to Madrid.

"I will give my soul every time I step on the pitch,' Suarez told El Pais what he would bring to a team like Madrid.

"I have done this with Uruguay, Ajax and Liverpool. I do not hold anything when I finish a game.

"A player always aspires to be at the top of their profession and Madrid is at the top for any football player."

Suarez also claimed he has been disturbed by Liverpool's failure to qualify for the Champions League during his time at the club, but admitted it feels special to play for the Merseyside outfit.

"It disturbs me that Liverpool are not in the Champions League every season," added Suarez.

"I've suffered at Liverpool, but when I think of what it represents to play for this club, and the love my daughter has - she sings the hymn - the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I play at Anfield."

The Uruguay striker claims his love for the club is outweighed by what he perceives as unfair treatment from the Football Association and the English media.

Suarez, who has six matches of a 10-match domestic ban still to serve for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic in April, has yet to submit an official transfer request.

But the 26-year-old has reiterated his desire to join Real Madrid and says his aspirations should be key to any decision over his future.

"First I have a contract with the club, but if one day I want to sign (for another club), Liverpool will hear the offer, as it does with other players," Suarez was quoted as telling Spanish newspaper Marca.

"They must agree with other teams, but the word of the player, in this case mine, is important. If you need a change, you should listen to the player.

"Every player aspires (to be the best) and if you ask a child of eight years they would say one day they would go to Real Madrid or Barcelona."

Suarez, who signed a new contract last summer and has four years of his current deal left to run, has claimed manager Brendan Rodgers is aware of his desire to leave.

But Liverpool disputed that in a statement released last month and said they expected their star man to honour his contract.

I love Suarez.  One of my favourite Liverpool players of all time.  Can't honestly blame him for wanting to leave at this point in his career.  Just wish he'd shut his mouth a little.

And If he is going to leave, Id prefer him to go to Barca than Madrid.

Apparently the unedited version of that interview was quite different.

In the original interview he didn't state he wants to leave.

Remember he was interviewed by Marca;  he answered questions put to him about Madrid.

When asked if he identifies with Madrid he actually answered "I identify with Liverpool".

When asked what would it be like to play for Madrid he says "every kid in South America dreams of playing for a team like Real Madrid or Barcelona but do you know what it's like to play for Liverpool?" He then goes on to say what an honour it is and talks about how his daughter sing YNWA like she owns it.

In short, he didn't show any disrespect towards Liverpool.

It's the agenda driven media who have made up this shamefully edited version.

That said I believe he does want out and I believe there is a PR man of some sort (friend maybe) pointing Suarez in the rhetoric of 'Liverpool not being in the CL', isn't that what all the conspiracy theorists wanted to hear - their version of honesty?

The 26 year old forward was asked about his bravery, which led to the question ‘Is that why you do not fear the possibility of playing for Real Madrid?’ Luis responded:

“I have never feared the pressure. But that does not mean anything, I am a Liverpool player.”

He is then asked ‘what can a player like you give a team like Madrid?’:

“I give my soul every time I step on the pitch. I have done this with Uruguay, Ajax and Liverpool. I do not hold anything when I finish a game.”

El Pais ask, do you have an agreement with Real Madrid?

“No, I have a contract with Liverpool.”

Asked, would you like to?, Suarez replies:

“A player always aspires to the maximum and Madrid is always at the top of the goal of a football player. Any player would love to play for a great team like Madrid. But, do you know what it is like to play for Liverpool?”

The interviewer responds ‘Fernando Torres said that to understand you have to play at Anfield’:

“I get goosebumps only thinking about it. Only 4 years ago I use to pretend that I was a Liverpool player, on Playstation.

“Liverpool is one of the best clubs worldwide. We did not go to Champions League, and we did not fight for the Premier League, and this club belongs there. The club knows how much I have had to endure with the press. This is why you think out loud, that it may be time to change, but I have endured so much to be where I am today.

“I am not going to let a few critics take it away from me and abandon what I love. I think what this club represents and the honor that it is to play. The love my daughter has for the club.. she sings YNWA and feels it like her own.”

Doesn't really change much does it - he can't stop talking about it.

If he really wants to say then just say that he doesn't want to leave.

The guy can't stop talking about it all at the moment.
