Criticism here is way over the top. I think he'll have a good second season but I wouldn't be playing him every game this season, especially not in away games where we have to be physically up to it.

Patience/faith/time /total justification
Jordan Henderson
Belief/support/time/the reason for our investment is becoming a touch clearer with his last three games .
Joe Allen
A drastic dip in form since he wowed every fucker in the Kop with how adroit he was with the ball at his feet .
So because we have seen just how good this kid can be if he's on form ,its time we gave him all of the above and more .

Allen deserves time.
As you said he had a cracking start to the season, I personally believe that the step up in games has caused him fatigue and as such his form has dropped.
BR himself has said that by Xmas Allen had already matched his total season games for Swansea in the previous season.
Playing double the games from your previous season will affect any player.
Joe Allen set for shoulder surgery
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Joe Allen is expected to undergo a shoulder operation in the next week.
The midfielder was named as a substitute for Sunday's game against Tottenham but before kick-off at Anfield it was revealed the £15million man has been carrying an injury for almost five months.
Allen, who has struggled to find top form since following Rodgers from Swansea City last summer, will now have surgery in an attempt to cure the long-standing problem.
Rodgers told Sky Sports: "We made a change today, because Joe Allen has been struggling from around about the end of October with his shoulder and that has got worse.
"He will probably need an operation in the next week or so."

absolutely spot on.
anyone can see that allen needs to play in a 3 not a 2. we got overrun last week playing 2 in the middle and this week without lucas in that formation it was only going to leave our defence even more exposed.
he well and truly is the new scapegoat now whenever we play poorly.
