It's so funny that everytime Rafa made a Sh*t signing eveyone was on it like flypaper. Well, since he left we practically haven't made 1 good signing(well, Suarez but he is our 2nd most expensive player ever, and Sturrige might be)
Since then we are just ***** away the money. Rodgers managed with a feat I thought was impossible. Manage just as poorly in the transfer market as Kenny and Commoli, albeit on a lesser scale.

he wasnt the worst on that pitch tonight and did make a few inteligent runs but he needs to sharpen up that final touch. i wouldnt be too worried as last season luis couldnt hit a barn door and improved massively this season so hopefully this lad can do the same.
rodgers needs to settle on a position he is going to play in and give him a run of games in it, starting with both legs against zenit. there is far too much unneccessary rotating going on.

Clearly the lad is a bit short on confidence at the moment but he does pose a goal threat. I was surprised Shelvey got the nod ahead of him. I hope he starts both games against Zenit.
